Fish Witch II Charters is ideal for any breed of anglers. Whether you are a family looking for something different for their next vacation in Carolina Beach or a die-hard fisherman who wants to grow as an angler – there is a trip for you.  When you book a trip, please be sure to click on the blue link below each trip that says "Show Trip Details".  This is where you will see what type of fish we will be targeting on the trip you're looking at.

Join the crew on their ‘Fish Witch II.’ She is a 48’ Henriques boat with twin 475 HP engines and enough room for up to 6 anglers. The Fish Witch II is a clean, seaworthy fishing machine that is fully outfitted with everything you need for a productive day on the water.

She features a set of navigational and fishfinding electronics, a flybridge to spot any action going on beneath the surface, a multimedia system, a fighting chair to help you reel in the catch, and other professional accessories. The Fish Witch II has all the comforts of home as well, with her restroom and sleeping area.

Once on board, you will find a selection of rods and reels suitable for your type of fishing. You will be able to spend your day checking the bite in the calm waters of the inlet or head up to 60 miles offshore. The targeted species will include Sharks, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Snapper, Black Seabass, Barracuda, Kingfish, and more – you never know what else you may find at the end of your fishing line.

Penn and Shimano gear will be provided for the trip, as well as bait, lures, and licenses. 

The crew will fillet and bag your fish at the end of the day for a nominal fee of 50 cents/pound.

Fishing nearshore for Spanish Mackerel during the months of March through November depending on the sea water temperature. Seasonally, we also fish for Little Tuna and Bluefish. Bottom Fishing during the colder months for Grunt, Ring Tail Brim, Black Sea Bass.

This is a five-hour trolling trip fishing for  Spanish or King Mackerel during the months of March thru November. Catching King Mackerel on a 5-hour trip is a seasonal type of fishing depending upon the sea water temperature. Seasonally, we also fish for Little Tuna and Bluefish. Bottom Fishing during the colder months for Grunt, Ring Tail Brim, Black Sea Bass.

5 Hour Trip

5 Hour Trip - 1:00 PM

On a 6 hour trip we will be going a little further offshore fishing for King Mackerel, Barracuda and Amberjack. Anything else that bites the hook. This is a seasonal trip depending upon the sea water temperature.

6 Hour Trolling Trip

6 Hour Trolling Trip - 1:00 PM

Fishing a little further offshore than nearshore.  Depending on the time of year, we'll be fishing for Black Sea Bass, Whiting, Ring Tail Brim, Gray Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Pink Snapper, Red Snapper.

6 Hour - Bottom Fishing

On this live bait fishing trip, we'll try and let our customers help catch the live bait. Then we'll head offshore and put those live baits on a hook and target Amberjack! It's a fun fishing adventure and they put up a great fight. And guess what? A great eating fish too!

6 Hour Live Bait Amberjack Trip - 6:00 AM

6 Hour - Bottom Fishing - 1:00 PM

This 8 hour offshore bottom fishing trip is ideal for those anglers who are looking to land Black Sea Bass, Pink Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Grunt, Red Snapper (Seasonal) and the occasional Grouper.

8 Hour Trip - Bottom Fishing

Any fan of trolling will love this extended full-day offshore trip, targeting King Mackerel, Barracuda, Amberjack, Mahi (Seasonal), Sail Fish (Seasonal) and anything else that bites the hook!

10 Hour Trip – Trolling

Fishing offshore on some great wrecks, we will be fishing for Black Sea Bass, Pink Snapper, Gray Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Trigger Fish, Porgy, Red Snapper, and Grouper.

10 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing

Spend 12 hours on the water, trolling for King Mackerel, Barracuda, Amberjack, and seasonally Mahi Mahi and occasional Sailfish! Often we will head for Frying Pan Tower on this 12 hour charter.

12 Hour Trip – Trolling

This is an extended adventure for all bottom fishing enthusiasts. You will be targeting Black Sea Bass, Pink Snapper, Gray Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Red Snapper (seasonal), Porgy, and Grouper. And whatever else wants to jump on the hook! We often head for Frying Pan Tower for this trip.

12 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing

The blue water is about 60 miles offshore of our coast.  We will be targeting Black Fin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and the occasional Sailfish. These types of species are seasonal to certain times of the year so check with us to see what's biting.
