Your Fishing Charter

Based out of Clearwater, FL, HIGH TIDE Saltwater Charters is in the optimal position to take you nearshore and offshore fishing. Bordering the Gulf, you’ll be on the open seas in no time, and you’ll get to take advantage of the rich fishing opportunities immediately. Led by Captain Derek Morris, you’ll be in safe, considerate hands. A passionate angler, he feels his main responsibility is making sure that you leave the boat with a smile on your face.

You’ll cast off of a 35’ Custom Crusader offshore sport fishing boat that was built, simply, to cruise the Gulf of Mexico. The 380 HP Cummins diesel engine will purr as you speed along to the productive fishing spots. This is surely one of the fastest boats in the harbor. It comes equipped with more amenities than you could wish for, including ample seating, a lunch booth, resting bunks, and, last but not least, a bathroom. 

Trips run up to 20 miles offshore and you’ll get to hit the deep seas, as well as the numerous reefs and wrecks leading up to the open ocean. These are prime congregating spots for numerous fish to feed and hide from predators. Using the latest Daiwa rods and reels, you’ll be mainly bottom fishing or trolling to reel in any number of Groupers, Snappers, Hogfish, King Mackerel, Barracuda, and many more! 

HIGH TIDE Saltwater Charters can take a maximum of 6 passengers, guaranteeing each guest the simple luxury of plenty of elbow room, both inside and out. With a downstairs steering station, you’re assured of a personable day with the captain and crew. Add to that the personal attention of the experienced captain and crew with over a decade of fishing the Gulf Of Mexico, and you’re in for an unforgettable day. Get on the Gulf!

This 4-hour trip is ideal to give you a taste of nearshore fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. You'll head out to some prime fishing locations, hunting reefs and wrecks for a range of fish, such as Hogfish, Snappers, Kingfish, Mackerels, and Sharks.

Half Day Trip (AM)

Spend your afternoon getting to know the nearshore waters, reefs, and wrecks off the coast of Clearwater. Try trolling for Spanish Mackerel and Kingfish, or bottom fish for Groupers, Snappers, and many more on this 4-hour trip.

Half Day Trip (PM)

8 hours is a decent amount of time to get out to the deeper waters and take advantage of the fantastic nearshore wreck and reef fishing on offer in Florida's Gulf waters. You'll get to bottom fish for Groupers, Snappers, Porgies, Black Sea Bass, Sharks, and many more.

Full Day Trip

It follows that the more time spent fishing, the more likely you are of catching some fish, right? So take advantage of this by spending 10 hours bottom fishing for a range of exciting nearshore fish such as Snappers, Groupers, Sharks, and many more. If you'd prefer trolling, just let your captain know.

Extended Full Day Trip

A must-do for all seasoned anglers and passionate fishermen, but even the less experienced won't fail to enjoy the rich delights of this fishing trip. You'll spend up to 12 hours bottom fishing up to 20 miles offshore for a range of beautiful and delicious fish, from Groupers to Snappers, to Porgie, to Black Sea Bass, Hogfish, Sharks, and more.
