Your Fishing Charter

Chasin’ Tides Charters invites you to enjoy a family-friendly fishing adventure out of Ocean City, Maryland. From bay fishing charters for Striped Bass and Flounder to guaranteed nighttime Shark adventures, there is a trip for you.

Spend your morning in the bay drifting for Flounder or head to the inlet, bridges, and jetty for Striped Bass. Cast lures for Stripers, Bluefish, and Shad later in the evening. Troll the inshore waters for Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. Check the bite around the wreck and go for Seabass, Flounder, Tautog, and Triggerfish. With Chasin’ Tides Charters, the opportunities abound. 

Before you head out, your captain will guide you through the basics and explain how to use the equipment, tackle, and bait. You will be fishing on a 28’ Dusky center console, which was overhauled in 2017. This fishing boat comes powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki engines and has enough room for up to 6 anglers. 

The boat features a full set of fishfinding and navigational electronics and an array of professional accessories. High-quality gear will be available for you on board, such as St. Croix rods and Florida reels for inshore and offshore fishing.

Wreck And Trolling combo trips are the best of both worlds where we bottom fish for sea bass flounder and triggers then trolling for spaniah mackeral, bluefish and green bonito. If one way was fishing is slower we communicate it and recommend what we focus more on.

Morning trips can begin at 6:00, 8:00, or 10:30 AM. You will be focusing on either drifting the bay for Flounder or fishing for Striped Bass in the inlet, bridge, bay, and around the jetty.

3 Hour Trip – Bay Fishing (AM)

This is an afternoon trip that can begin at 12:30, 2:30, or 5:00 PM. You will be casting lures for Striped Bass, Shad, and Bluefish.

3 Hour Trip – Bay Fishing (PM)

Add a few more hours to your time on the water and check more productive spots. You will be fishing the bay for Flounder and Striped Bass or focusing on Stripes only in the inlet, bridge, and around the jetty. The trip can begin at 6 or 8 in the morning.

4 Hour Trip – Bay Fishing (AM)

This trip an start at 12:30 or 4:30 in the afternoon. You will target Stripers, Bluefish, and Shad by casting lures.

Fish close to shore in the ocean looking for Spanish mackeral, alantic bonita, and bluefish

This is an afternoon Shark fishing charter focusing on catch-and-release of Sandbar and Sand Tiger Sharks. Other species include Sharpnose and Dusky Sharks.

4 Hour Trip – Shark Fishing (AM)

This is an afternoon Shark fishing charter focusing on catch-and-release of Sand Tiger and Sandbar Sharks. You may also catch Sharpnose and Dusky Sharks.

4 Hour Trip – Shark Fishing (PM)

This night time Shark fishing trip is a customer favorite! Main target species include Sand Tiger and Sandbar Sharks, and you might also catch Sharpnose and Dusky Sharks while you're at it. Please note this trip is focused on catch-and-release fishing.

Night Trip – Shark Fishing

Troll the inshore waters for Bluefish, Spanish and King Mackerel, and Bonito.

5 Hour Trip – Inshore Trolling (AM)

On this five-hour trip, you will be targeting Flounder, Triggerfish, and Seabass up to 20 miles offshore.

5 Hour Trip – Wreck Fishing (AM)

If you are not an early bird, this is your trip. You will be fishing for Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel, as well as the occasional Kingfish and Bonito.

5 Hour Trip – Inshore Trolling (PM)

If you are looking to avoid traffic, this is an ideal trip for you. You will be fishing 20 miles out for Triggerfish, Seabass, and Flounder.

5 Hour Trip – Wreck Fishing (PM)

6 Hour Trip - Inshore Trolling (AM)

This trip can take you up to 20 miles to the local wreck, where you will be going for Flounder, Triggerfish, and Seabass.

6 Hour Trip – Wreck Fishing

6 Hour Trip - Inshore Trolling (PM)

This trip can take you up to 40 miles to the local wreck, where you will be going for Flounder, Triggerfish, and Seabass.

8 Hour Trip – Wreck Fishing

Bottom fishing for Seabass or flounder followed by shark fishing

8 Hr Wreck and Sharkfishing

This 10 hour trip will take you 30+ miles offshore in search of Dusky, Hammerhead, Mako, and Thresher Sharks. Fishing on this trip is catch and release.

10 Hour Trip – Shark

We offer very limited offshore trips these trips are for Tuna Mahi Marlin Wahoo. We limit these trips to 4 people to allow space. These are 10-12 hour trips we bring bean bags for a comfortable ride. We will spend the day trolling or bailing weedlines for mahi.
