Chasin' Tides Charters invites you to enjoy a family-friendly fishing adventure out of Ocean City, Maryland. From bay fishing charters for Striped Bass and Flounder to guaranteed nighttime Shark adventures, there is a trip for you.
Spend your morning in the bay drifting for Flounder or head to the inlet, bridges, and jetty for Striped Bass. Cast lures for Stripers, Bluefish, and Shad later in the evening. Troll the inshore waters for Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. Check the bite around the wreck and go for Seabass, Flounder, Tautog, and Triggerfish. With Chasin' Tides Charters, the opportunities abound.
Before you head out, your captain will guide you through the basics and explain how to use the equipment, tackle, and bait. You will be fishing on a 28' Dusky center console, which was overhauled in 2017. This fishing boat comes powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki engines and has enough room for up to 6 anglers.
The boat features a full set of fishfinding and navigational electronics and an array of professional accessories. High-quality gear will be available for you on board, such as St. Croix rods and Florida reels for inshore and offshore fishing.

My girlfriend, kids, and I went on a 4 hour shark trip with Jeff and Sean on 7/25/2026. After landing a few nice sand tigers, a large sting ray, and several other species while fishing for bait, we opted to spend the last bit of our trip trying to catch a striper or two. And these guys know how to catch fish! Mission accomplished! Although it was outside of the slot, with just a few minutes remaining in our trip, we landed a nice striper and missed one at the side of the boat that would have been a slot. We all had a blast (except my GF, who unfortunately neglected to take her Dramamine and, well, you know the rest 🤢). I 100% recommend Jeff and Sean aboard the Chasin’ Tides charter fleet for your next charter trip!
My daughter and I had a an enjoyable time with Chasin’ Tides and their staff. Both Captain & 1st mate were helpful, knowledgeable, and kind, all of which is much appreciated when trying to have an experience with young kids. I strongly recommend Chasin’ Tides for families or anyone looking to avoid packed in flounder boats and have a relaxed and fun fishing trip.
The weather was not in our favor for the whole week The captain and mate did everything in their power to get us out and when they did the conditions where not great however they worked hard and just when it was getting to rough and had to had in we got bit by a 51 inch bluefin. Somehow with. Expert direction from the captain and mate we got the fish onboard and headed for home. I will absolutely request this revere again.
What a fantastic day on the water! My 10-year-old son, my 8-year-old daughter, and I had an absolute blast. We caught a great variety of fish, which kept the kids excited the whole time. The crew was incredibly kind and so patient and great with my children, making sure they were having fun and staying safe every step of the way. My kids are already asking when we can come back for another round. Highly recommend this charter for families. Thank you for a day we won’t forget!
Great time with my family of 6 catching some sharks, memories like that don’t come by everyday! If you are thinking of going, just do it! My 15 year old son reeled in a six foot sand tiger shark, memories like this are priceless and your family will have legendary stories to tell for the rest of their life!
