Chasin' Tides Charters invites you to enjoy a family-friendly fishing adventure out of Ocean City, Maryland. From bay fishing charters for Striped Bass and Flounder to guaranteed nighttime Shark adventures, there is a trip for you.
Spend your morning in the bay drifting for Flounder or head to the inlet, bridges, and jetty for Striped Bass. Cast lures for Stripers, Bluefish, and Shad later in the evening. Troll the inshore waters for Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. Check the bite around the wreck and go for Seabass, Flounder, Tautog, and Triggerfish. With Chasin' Tides Charters, the opportunities abound.
Before you head out, your captain will guide you through the basics and explain how to use the equipment, tackle, and bait. You will be fishing on a 28' Dusky center console, which was overhauled in 2017. This fishing boat comes powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki engines and has enough room for up to 6 anglers.
The boat features a full set of fishfinding and navigational electronics and an array of professional accessories. High-quality gear will be available for you on board, such as St. Croix rods and Florida reels for inshore and offshore fishing.

What a fantastic day on the water! My 10-year-old son, my 8-year-old daughter, and I had an absolute blast. We caught a great variety of fish, which kept the kids excited the whole time. The crew was incredibly kind and so patient and great with my children, making sure they were having fun and staying safe every step of the way. My kids are already asking when we can come back for another round. Highly recommend this charter for families. Thank you for a day we won’t forget!
Our family had an amazing time. The captain and first mate (Malachi and Joe) were personable, knowledgeable, and entertaining. We caught several species of sharks. All 3 of our kids were able to participate ( ages 9, 13, 15). When we were booking, the owner responded very quickly and recommended a better day due to weather (choppy water) so that we would have a much better experience. We highly recommend this charter!
2nd time with chasin tides charter. captain and deckhand were awesome. we caught 3 or 4 big sharks and a sting ray. our 6 and 8 year old kids even got to reel one in each with some help. Awesome time would definitely recomend. bathroom on board. boat is big enough to move around. enclosed are to rest and get out of the sun.
Took my 3 granddaughters and sons-in-law on a 4-hour bay fishing excursion this morning. Captain Malakhi and First Mate Sean were excellent as they put us on fish immediately and interacted with the grandkids for a fun, memorable day. It was priceless to see them reel in their first ever saltwater catches.
We booked a trip for my eight year old's 8th birthday on September 27th, 2025. Kevin was one of the best fishing guides that we've ever been with. Starting from the very beginning he even suggested we park in a different parking spot based on the crowd levels and the possibility of being blocked in. He explained that they were short handed so he had to first mate and captain the boat for us. Kevin was personable, knowledgeable and put us right on the fish. I estimate that we caught around 60-70 fish with dozens of keepers. He tailored the trip and time to allow us to try for Sea Bass and Flounder and did an excellent job driving the boat, rigging the poles, cutting bait and taking care of all of us on the trip. There was an issue where a line got snagged on the bottom and the pole snapped, sending 3/4 of the pole into the ocean. This information was relayed to the business owner who initially charged $120 for the loss of the road. We contacted the owner who replied in a timely manner and explained that nothing negligent occurred to cause the rod to break. This business owner agreed to refund the $120 and by doing that he's gained a customer for life. It goes a long way for an owner to hear a complaint and make it right. I will send anyone looking for a fishing trip to Chasin' Tides and my family will definitely book with them again in the future. Thanks for a great trip and excellent customer service.
