For your next inshore fishing trip in Texas, you should book a trip with Reel Obsession Bay Fishing. Captain Stuart will be with you every step of the way to make sure you have a great day out with him. He has been fishing since he was 5 years old and will do everything he can to get you on top of the fishing and reeling in some beauties.

The day will be spent on his 23’ center console. There is plenty of room for all 5 anglers on board to fish comfortably. The 225 HP engine will get you to the fishing grounds before you know it, wasting no time on your trip. 

The fish you’ll be targeting include Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum. You’ll mostly be drifting with artificial bait for these. After the trip, the captain can fillet your catch for you, ready to take home and cook.

Included in the price are top quality rods and reels from Shimano. These won’t let you down when reeling in your trophy catch or first ever fish. These trips are suitable for everyone and there is no minimum age for children on board. 

You can let the captain know before the day if you wish to use live bait on these trips. He can buy it for you, but you’ll need to cover the cost. If you have an urge to get into the water and wade fish, this can also be arranged. Just let the captain know before the day.

Before the trip, everyone over 17 must purchase a fishing license before boarding the boat. It’s a good idea to bring food and drinks along, too – fishing can work up an appetite and is thirsty work.

Spend the whole day drift fishing for the likes of Flounder, Black Drum, Redfish, and Speckled Trout. Let the captain know in advance if you need live bait bought for an additional cost or wish to use waders. This is a top fishery for inshore fishing and fun for the whole family. You must buy a fishing license for everyone over 17. Bring along a packed lunch and drinks. These can go into the captain's cooler.

Spend 5 hours drift fishing with artificial lures for Trout, Flounder, and Redfish. Let the captain know in advance if you require live bait (additional cost) or want to go wade fishing. 5 Hour Trip – Bay (AM)

Head out for 5 hours targeting Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. Port Mansfield has some of the best lure fishing for Trout and Redfish on the entire Gulf Coast, so be ready to reel in these bad boys. You'll mostly be drift fishing with artificial lures. Live bait and wade fishing are available only upon request. You must buy a fishing license before the day of the trip and are welcome to bring your own food and drink. This can go into the captain's cooler.
