Texas offers some of the best bass fishing in the USA, and the Hill Country area around Austin provides a beautiful backdrop to any potential angling action. Join Captain Ray Tomasits, also known as the “Hill Country Bass Coach,” for a fun-filled day on the water! 

Capt. Ray is a professional fishing guide who has been guiding full time since 2015. You will be fishing on his tournament-ready 21’ Skeeter bass boat, which can accommodate up to  4 guests in total. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome aboard and all rods, reels, and tackle are provided for your day on the water. You are welcome to bring your own rods and tackle if you prefer.

Whether you want to catch a lot of fish or go on the hunt for trophy Bass, these local lakes provide it all. Travis, Austin, Ladybird, Walter E. Long, Bastrop, and LBJ are just a few of the lakes that Capt. Ray guides on. Get in touch with Capt. Largemouth Bass are the primary targets for Hill Country Bass Coach Charters. Guadalupe Bass are also abundant and are often caught during charters. This is the state fish of Texas and exists only in Central Texas.  If you want to catch Smallmouth Bass, there is a moderate density population in Belton Lake.

Capt. Ray’s primary goal is to put you on fish, but he also wants to help you become a better angler. If you’re a new angler and want to take your skills to the next level, sign up for Ray’s water-based “Bass School.” Ray’s Bass School is custom-tailored to your learning objectives and developmental needs.  Topics covered include casting, knot tying, rigging, skipping, and reading electronics (Livescope, Side/Down Scan, and Maps).
