Are you ready to go on an awesome Salmon and Trout fishing trip? Then you need to book one with 716 SPORTFISHING today. Captain Matt and his crew will do everything they can to make sure you have an epic day of fishing. Capt. Matt loves seeing the smiles on people’s faces when they catch fish and he really enjoys when people become aware of the treasure they have in their own backyard. The unexpected fishing grounds are often the most fun to fish!

Hop on board and enjoy the comfortable 38’ Viking! This boat has a full walk-in cabin with a private bathroom, a kitchen, a couch, bed, and kitchen table. The deck of the boat is open, making room for you to enjoy the sun and fight fish. There is plenty of space here for all 6 anglers in your group to fish at the same time. 

You’ll be targeting a range of fish during your trip, including Coho, Atlantic, and Chinook Salmon. The other species you’ll be going after are Brown, Lake, and Rainbow Trout. Whatever your skill level, there is a fish out here with your name on it!

Children older than 6 are welcome to come along on these trips and will have life vests provided for them. Any fish caught can be cleaned by the captain for you, so have a cooler waiting in the car that’s ready to take your catch home to be cooked.

Included in the price of the trip are top quality rods and reels from Shimano and Okuma. These won’t let you down when reeling in your first fish ever or even trophy catch. 

You’ll need to purchase a NY State fishing license before the day of the trip. Feel free to bring along a small cooler of food and drinks for the day, too. Dress for the weather and pack a rain jacket or sun protection, and you’ll be ready for a great day of fishing.

This is a 5-hour trip that departs at 6:00 a.m. You'll be targeting a range of Salmon and Trout on this trip. All rods and reels are included in the trip and the captain can fillet your catch after the trip. You'll need to buy a NY fishing license before the trip begins and are welcome to bring along a small cooler of food and drinks for the day. Don't forget rain gear and sun protection!

Weekend half day

Get ready for 4 hours of fishing for Salmon and Trout. The captain will provide all the rods and reels for the day and can clean your catch after the trip. You'll need to buy a fishing license before the trip begins and should bring your own snacks and drinks in a small cooler. Dress for the weather and you're good to go!

Half Day Trip (PM)

This is an 7 hour charter on Lake Ontario. You'll be targeting Atlantic, Chinook, and Coho Salmon, as well as Brown, Lake, and Rainbow Trout. All the necessary rods and reels are included in the price. After the trip, the captain can clean your catch for you. Bring a cooler with you to take the fish home in. You'll also need to bring a packed lunch and drinks, and buy a fishing license before the trip begins. Don't forget sun protection and a rain jacket.

Full Day Trip

This fishing charter is ran on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
