Captain Sam Ramey grew up on the water. He's been fishing since he was 8 and has spent a lot of his life living on boats. Capt. Sam has been fishing the Suncoast for over 10 years and knows these waters like the back of his hand. After graduating from Eckerd College with a degree in business management and ecology, Capt. Sam founded Suncoast Fishing Adventures to share his love of the ocean with as many people as possible. He prides himself on offering a superior level of service to his competition and will always go the extra mile to make your trip special.

Extended Full Day Trip on July 28, 2022
Whole day with Capt Kevin
Ran out 55 miles to red snapper grounds. Rough ride. Wind waves and current too strong for tiller to hold on position. Caught one small red. Kevin called trip at noon. 20 miles back water and wind calmed down so Kevin stopped and we fished several spots. Caught 3 nice keeper Red Grouper, several nice mangrove snappers and lots of various other snappers. Lots of undersized red grouper returned to the water. Overall, Kevin made the best of very tough weather conditions.

Captain Sam and Captain Kevin were both very nice and knew what they were doing. Put us on fish right away. My son caught a tuna !! Was impressed by the way they fished.
