Want to try something new, different, and exciting? Head to Boston, Massachusetts and spend the day fishing with Get Tight Sport Fishing. Captain Brian Coombs has been fishing these waters since he was a kid and knows the hottest spots anywhere from Boston Harbor to Cape Cod. 

He welcomes you aboard his 26’ center console custom-built by Jones Brothers Marine in 2021. Powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha 4-strokes, it feels like a much bigger boat and can accommodate up to 5 anglers fishing comfortably. It’s very stable and dry thanks to its 9’4” beam and a big Carolina flair.

Your captain’s vessel is equipped with the latest in Humminbird and Minn Kota electronics, including dual 13” touch navigation screens, Chirp radar, Mega Imaging plus side scan, down scan sonar, and dual VHF radios. Capt. Brian will also be utilizing a new Minn Kota Terrova smart trolling motor when you’re cruising the shallows! All safety gear is USCG-approved.

Captain Brian is always exploring new fishing techniques and loves sharing his discoveries and knowledge with his customers. He’s a big fan of light tackle, jigging, and popping. Fly fishing is also an option if you let him know in advance.

Get Tight Sport Fishing specializes in inshore vertical jigging using ultra-light tackle, an incredibly fun and productive technique. Jigging and popping for schools of Tuna is also one of their signature techniques. The other species you can expect to target include Black Seabass, Striped Bass, Mackerel, Tautog, Haddock, Pollock, False Albacore, and much more.

Captain Brian is also a gear fanatic so you’ll always find the newest and the coolest toys available on the boat. You’ll be supplied with the latest rods and reels, mostly by Shimano, lures, and live bait. Fishing licenses, drinks, lunch, and even catch cleaning are also courtesy of Get Tight Sport Fishing.

They will provide everything you’ll need to land your dream catch – you just have to shop up and reel ‘em in!

On this 4-hour trip, you'll be exploring the waters of Boston Harbor. Our primary target will be striped bass, these fish are residential holdover bass. Using light tackle spinning outfits.  These trips are only available the month of April.

4 hour Early Spring Striped Bass

On this 4-hour trip, you'll be exploring the waters of Boston Harbor. Our primary target will be striped bass, these fish are residential holdover bass. Using light tackle spinning outfits.  These trips are only available the month of October 10th - November 15th

4 hour Late Fall Striped Bass

You're guaranteed to have fun on this 4-hour trip using light tackle or fly. The captain will show you the hottest fisheries of Boston Harbor and make sure you have a great time.

Half Day PM – Boston Harbor

This trip is captain's favorite and is recommended for 3 anglers only. This trip is the most demanding and technical trip I offer. Precision casting is required to hook these fish. This trip is not for novice anglers. You'll be using light tackle and fly fishing. No inshore game fish fights better than a false albacore. 

Afternoon Cape Cod Albies & Bonito 

This trip is captain's favorite and is recommended for 3 anglers only. You'll be using light tackle and fly fishing. Lunch in the vineyard if wanted is usually available.

Full Day – Cape Cod Albie/Bonito

Want some meat for the table? Catch as many Scup, Black Seabass, Tautog, and Fluke as you can! This trip is great for children and novice anglers.

Full Day – Cape Cod Bottom Fishing

Come fill your cooler with the tastiest fish in the ocean, the North Atlantic Haddock. This is a full day offshore trip targeting haddock and other ground fish.  We use a combination of bait and artificial lures on these trips. Please remember to tip your mate 20% on these trips. He will be working very hard!
