Want to try something new, different, and exciting? Head to Boston, Massachusetts and spend the day fishing with Get Tight Sport Fishing. Captain Brian Coombs has been fishing these waters since he was a kid and knows the hottest spots anywhere from Boston Harbor to Cape Cod.
He welcomes you aboard his 26' center console custom-built by Jones Brothers Marine in 2021. Powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha 4-strokes, it feels like a much bigger boat and can accommodate up to 5 anglers fishing comfortably. It's very stable and dry thanks to its 9'4" beam and a big Carolina flair.
Your captain's vessel is equipped with the latest in Humminbird and Minn Kota electronics, including dual 13" touch navigation screens, Chirp radar, Mega Imaging plus side scan, down scan sonar, and dual VHF radios. Capt. Brian will also be utilizing a new Minn Kota Terrova smart trolling motor when you're cruising the shallows! All safety gear is USCG-approved.
Captain Brian is always exploring new fishing techniques and loves sharing his discoveries and knowledge with his customers. He's a big fan of light tackle, jigging, and popping. Fly fishing is also an option if you let him know in advance.
Get Tight Sport Fishing specializes in inshore vertical jigging using ultra-light tackle, an incredibly fun and productive technique. Jigging and popping for schools of Tuna is also one of their signature techniques. The other species you can expect to target include Black Seabass, Striped Bass, Mackerel, Tautog, Haddock, Pollock, False Albacore, and much more.
Captain Brian is also a gear fanatic so you'll always find the newest and the coolest toys available on the boat. You'll be supplied with the latest rods and reels, mostly by Shimano, lures, and live bait. Fishing licenses, drinks, lunch, and even catch cleaning are also courtesy of Get Tight Sport Fishing.
They will provide everything you'll need to land your dream catch – you just have to shop up and reel 'em in!

My son and I came to Boston for the first time for a ball game and wanted to get out on the water. Captain Brian gave me an upfront and honest explanation of the what we could target based on the current conditions. We went out and caught about a dozen striper. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything Striper and even gave us a tour of the harbor. The boat and equipment were top notch as well. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to fish the Boston area.
Captain Brian is local and knows all the spots and techniques. He is great with knowledgeable anglers and patient and helpful with newbies. We caught holdover stripers on sea worms, had a Harbour tour on the way back. A great day on the water. His boat is modern and clean. His mapping and fish finder are state of the art and his shimano rods and reels are new and high end. There’s never a guarantee with fish but with Captain Brian we put our best foot forward and we were successful.
Captain Brian and First Mate, Tate, are exceptional. We caught 3 large striped bass - 48” plus. It was an afternoon trip on a blue bird day and the fish didn’t want to bite. We saw several commercial fisherman come up empty. But Brian and Tate didn’t! They used all the tricks in the book and made an amazing afternoon for me and my 9 year old son. Thank you Brian and Tate - we’ll be back!!!!

Free cancellation up to 14 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
