Inshore fishing consists of fishing in the rivers, creeks, inlets, and beaches surrounding Charleston. Typically the water is calm and land is always visible so motion sickness medicine is usually not needed, but feel free to bring some. The travel time from the dock to the fishing destination is short - typically 20 minutes so you will be fishing within minutes. On this type of fishing charter, depending on the time of year, we target Red Drum (aka Redfish or Spot Tail Bass), Sea Trout, Flounder, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Sharks, Sheepshead, and more! We use spinning reels and a variety of live bait, such as shrimp and finger mullet. This is the most popular excursion available in 1/2 day, 3/4 day, and full day trips.

Capt.Chappy and Jeremy are local fishermen who have plenty of experience when it comes to exploring the coast of South Carolina. They're passionate about these waters and love nothing more than passing on their knowledge to other guests. The ultimate goal on each trip is to teach you the ways of these waters, and how to fish them – and to leave you with plenty to smile about! 

You’ll be fishing from your captain’s 23' Sea Pro bay boat or 24' Blazer Bay boat. These are the perfect vessels for cruising our shallow fishing grounds, with room for up to 5 guests onboard. The Captains loves welcoming children on their adventures, so feel free to turn this into an unforgettable family adventure. Just make sure that any little ones are ages 5 or above. Your captain will provide you with life vests, and the boat is decked out with top-notch safety and navigational gear, too.

You'll have the chance to target a variety of Low Country favorites, including Redfish, Shark, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Flounder, and plenty more. Your captain will show you the ropes if you're new to fishing, and will happily share the local tips and tricks he's picked up. Light conventional spinning gear and rods are included, as well as a license. Gratuity is not included in the trip price. Please note: 5 anglers is the max number allowed on this trip. 5 adults is very tight.

3 hours of Shark fishing in the Charleston Harbor and surrounding beach fronts. Recommended for anglers looking to catch something out of the ordinary. This trip is recommended for folks that are new to fishing and just looking to have good times with friends as well as experienced anglers. This trip is only available in the afternoons during the summer months. Bring your drinks and let's have some fun!

3 Hour Trip – Shark

With a later start time, this trip is a great option for anglers who want to fish with little ones. You'll spend the afternoon cruising favorite Low Country spots, which are home to Redfish, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, and more. This fish is a great target for newbies and experienced anglers alike. Capt. Chappy or McCray will cover your fishing license, too. Gratuity not included in the price. Afternoon time may deviate a little based upon times and weather conditions.

4 Hour Trip (PM)

A 6-hour fishing trip. This gives more experienced anglers more time on the water. The 6-hour trip improves chances of catching a multitude of species by being able to target key points of the tide cycle. It also allows time for longer runs to fishing grounds that may otherwise be out of reach for a 4-hour trip. Either way, it gives anglers more time to relax and "zone in" on finicky fish that may not bite on a shorter trip.
