Lucky Sport Fishing Baja has been putting people on fish for over 35 years. Your guides Juan Fischer and JB will do their best to secure a successful day on the water, even if this is your first time fishing! Join them in Ensenada, where the fishing season never stops.

To make your trip more comfortable, the captain can arrange a pickup in Ensenada free of charge. If you’re coming from the US, he can go as far as the US border, which is around 80 miles, at an extra cost.

Once you onboard the 36’ Luhrs offshore boat, your adventure starts. There’s enough room for 8 guests to fish in comfort, so you don’t have to wait for your turn. The boat has been restored in 2019 and is powered by twin 200 HP Diesel engines. She’s very comfortable and offers a smooth ride, even in offshore waters. The boat features a flybridge, a private toilet, and a cabin with seating space. 

Trips closer to the shore can get you Yellowtail, White Seabass, Bonita, Rockcod, and Lingcod. If you take a longer trip, you’ll have more time to go offshore and target Striped Marlin, Tuna, Barracuda, Mako Shark, or Mahi Mahi. 

Feel free to bring your food and drinks, and don’t forget to purchase your fishing license.

You'll stay close to the harbor on this trip, usually no more than 5 miles offshore. Target various inshore species and bring some of them home – although catch and release is encouraged, the crew will clean your catch. Bring your snacks and drinks. There are lots of spots close to the harbor, so these kind of trips are very fruitful. The crew will cover your fishing equipment and clean your catch.

We will be fishing near Toto, Santos Island, or north or south of there for yellowtaill longcod or depends on what is biting?

3/4 day trip

Local fishing for Yellowtail, White Seabass, Barracuda and various types of Rockfish. The captain will clean your catch if you wish to bring some fillets home. Your fishing equipment is covered, so you only need to bring your food, drinks, and a fishing license.

Local Trip

This trip will take you reef fishing to Banda Bank or Santo Tomas, targeting various fish species. You'll use either artificial lures or dead calamari as bait. Catch and release is encouraged but you can keep the fish. The crew will clean it for you free of charge. Bring your snacks and drinks.

Fleelance

This trip will take you fishing for giant Yellowfin Tuna and you can also catch Mahi Mahi. You'll go 10-50 miles offshore. Make sure to dress properly and bring your food. The crew will cover your fishing equipment but you need to purchase your fishing license.
