Reel Time Charters is a family-friendly outfit that always puts safety first and fun at a close second. As long as these two conditions are met, the fish arrive on deck in no time! Captain Cody Garner’s passion is taking people out to see what goes on in the ocean and his guests’ smiling faces are what keeps him going. This charter does it all – from catching Spanish Mackerel on the beach to chasing pelagic game fish in the Gulf Stream!

The vessel that will take you to your desired fishing grounds is a 31’ custom Carolina saltwater fishing boat. Featuring a 220 HP Isuzu inboard diesel, all the necessary safety equipment, electronic systems for navigation and fish finding, as well as a private toilet, the boat will serve as a safe and comfortable fishing platform for your entire group, allowing you a fun and productive time on the water.

The captain will provide you with everything you’ll need to fish. You’ll be equipped with top-notch Avet and Shimano rods and reels, bait, and lures. Your fishing license is also covered by the charter, so all you need to focus on is putting the fish in the boat. Up to 6 anglers can join all the trips, including kids of all ages. However, only 4 guests can fish at the same time.

It’s recommended to be at the meetup location 15-20 minutes prior to the trip. Free parking will be available, as well as shops opening at 6:00 am, and a 24/7 gas station nearby. Things you should bring aboard with you are a cooler with drinks and snacks, sunscreen, and sunglasses. The first mate will be present on all trips to assist you. He works for tips and the suggested gratuity rate is 20%. Fish cleaning is available after the trip for $1.00 per pound.

This trip will take you fishing the waters 20-25 miles off the beach. It's a great option for anglers looking to get out after some nice fish without staying out all day. Target species such as King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Barracuda, and a variety of bottom fish such as Snapper, Triggerfish, and Grouper.

Very basic and family-friendly. This trip stays within 5 miles of the beach targeting Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. Certain times of the year will allow you to also target Atlantic Bonito, False Albacore, and King Mackerel.

4 Hour Half Day (AM)

This is a great option for families with kids. On this trip, you won't go more than 5 miles away from shore and you'll have the opportunity to target some fun local fish. The main targeted species will be Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish, however, certain times of the year will allow you to target Atlantic Bonito, King Mackerel, and False Albacore as well.

4 Hour Half Day (PM)

Explore the nearshore waters within 15 miles of the beach. Depending on the season, you can expect to catch King Mackerel, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, a variety of bottom fish, and Seatrout, Sheepshead, and Black Seabass. This is a great trip for anglers new to the sport who want to learn more about local fishing.

6 Hour Trip

On this trip we are looking for giant bluefin tunas. We will normally fish within 15 miles of the beach. Bycatch can consist of false albacore, blackfin tuna, and sharks. The is a specialized trip targeting a once in a lifetime fish.

Giant Blue Fin Tuna

With an 11am departure this is an offshore trip for those that preffer to sleep in a little later. On 3/4 day trips we fish 15-25 miles off the beach targeting king mackerel and dolphin on troll and triggerfish and snapper on the bottom.

8 Hour Afternoon

A full 10 hour day of offshore fishing. The only thing separating this trip from the 12 hour is that you won't go all the way to the Gulf Stream. Targeted species are Dolphin, King Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, Snapper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, and Grouper.

Full Day Offshore

The longest trip offered by the charter. On this adventure, you can expect to venture as far as 40 miles offshore and target Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, Marlin, Tuna, King Mackerel, Amberjack, and bottom fish. Whatever your angling goal may be, it can be accomplished on this trip.
