Captain Jon from Reel Attack Charters invites you to book one of his many charters he offers in beautiful Islamorada, the “Fishing Capital of the World.” The possibilities are endless with the great variety of fishing opportunities that are targeted. Captain Jon will take you to where the fish are.

Your captain is proud to offer many different fishing techniques on his 2016 Ranger bay boat. This boat is big enough for serious anglers to fight the “big ones” or bring the family on a day of fun for all. This 22’ vessel is equipped with all the latest technology for finding the fish, and capability to keep your catch fresh until you get back to the dock. Upon returning, Captain Jon will fillet your freshly caught fish for you and recommend a great restaurant to enjoy your catch!

Captain Jon offers Daytime/Nighttime Shark fishing and his personal favorite – Nighttime Tarpon Trip! On the Tarpon trips, you will pull in some monsters weighing in at anywhere from 120 to 150 pounds, with many fish a year topping 150 pounds. Using strictly live bait and light tackle, you are in for the battle of a lifetime! 

You can also go reef fishing and catch Snapper, Hogfish, Grouper, Mackerel, Barracuda, Sharks, and many others. Gulf fishing will hook you Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sharks, Goliath Grouper, etc. If you want to do some backcountry fishing, Captain Jon will put you on some Redfish, Snook, Speckled Seatrout, Permit, Mangrove Snapper, Shark, and Tarpon.

This short backcountry trip is a great option for families with kids or a group of laid back guests. You'll learn something new and catch your lunch on the way. The targets of the day are going to be Snook, Redfish, Bonefish, Shark, Grouper, Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Hogfish, Barracuda, Cobia, and Triple Tail.

Half Day (AM) – Backcountry Trip

This laidback trip will take you fishing for reef species using light tackle. Your catch of the day will be Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Permit, Bonefish, Shark, Grouper, Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Hogfish, Barracuda, Cobia, and Triple Tail. You never know what you're going to catch, so expect the unexpected!

Half Day (AM) – Reef Trip

When you don't have a whole day for a fishing adventure, half day will do! We will target several Shark species around Islamorada such as Bull, Spinner, Lemon, Nurse, Tiger shark, Hammerhead and the elusive Blacktip shark! This action is available year round, so you can go anytime.

Visit the backcountry of Islamorada and target amazing fish species using light tackle. This trip is pretty laidback, so you don't need previous fishing experience. The fish we will be targeting will be Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Permit, Bonefish, Shark, Grouper, Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Hogfish, Barracuda, Cobia, and Triple Tail. Book your trip today to have a relaxing, fun day and catch fresh fish for your dinner.

3/4 Day – Backcountry Trip

This 6-hour adventure will take you to the Gulf of Mexico, where you'll be fishing for Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Permit, Bonefish, Shark, Goliath Grouper, Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Hogfish, Barracuda, and Triple Tail. This trip will give you plenty of time to catch your fill of great eating fish for a fantastic dinner later.

3/4 Day – Gulf of Mexico

On this trip we will target Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Permit, Bonefish, Shark, Grouper, Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Hogfish, Barracuda, Cobia, and Triple Tale. Captain Jon uses light tackle and live bait for bottom, wreck, and patch reef fishing. This trip is great for guests with little or no fishing experience, or families with kids. Spend a great day with your loved ones and catch some lunch on the way!

3/4 Day – Reef Trip

Target different types of Sharks on this 6-hour trip. Islamorada offers great Shark fishing opportunities year round, so the action never stops. There are several Shark types you can target, some of them being Bull, Spinner, Lemon, Nurse, Tiger Shark, Hammerhead, and the elusive Blacktip Shark. Come on down and reel in your own monster shark.

3/4 Day – Shark Trip

NO HOOKUP - NO PAY!!  Captain Jon guarantees you will hook one of these monsters or you don’t pay. Beginning March 1st through mid July, the night time tarpon fishing is absolutely incredible! Most nights we have multiple hook ups. We use strictly live bait and light tackle for the battle of a lifetime, with most fish weighing between 120 and 150 lbs., with many fish a year topping the 150 lbs. Departure times coincide with the tides, so Captain Jon will keep in touch with you.

Night Time Tarpon Trip

The advantage of this trip is that you can go even if the weather gets bad. You'll mostly use light tackle for targeting Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Permit, Bonefish, Shark, Grouper, Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Hogfish, Barracuda, Cobia, and Triple Tale. Backcountry Trip is great for less experienced guests, kids, or elder anglers. Captain Jon uses light tackle rods and live bait for bottom, wreck and patch reef fishing. This type of fishing provides for fantastic action all day!

Full Day – Backcountry Trip

Head out further and reach the Gulf of Mexico! You'll be fishing for Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Permit, Bonefish, Shark, Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Hogfish, Barracuda, Triple Tail, and Goliath Grouper. For this trip, you'll mostly use live bait, which the captain will prepare in advance. This trip will provide you with constant action and a fun day had by all.

Full Day – Gulf of Mexico

Captain Jon uses light tackle rods and live bait for bottom, wreck and patch reef fishing. This type of fishing provides for fantastic action and a wide variety of species, great for families of all ages from children to adult. It is a great fishery to catch some of the best eating fish available. Within a very short boat ride you will be fishing and enjoying the experience of a lifetime. Come on down for a fun day and catch your own fish to bring to a local restaurant for dinner.

Full Day – Reef Trip

Reel Attack Charters offers day time and night time shark fishing with a very short boat ride to the fishing spot. A lot of very exciting action is offered for this type of fishing year round. Some of the many species of sharks you may catch are Bull, Spinner, Lemon, Nurse, Tiger Shark, Hammerhead, and the elusive Blacktip Shark. If you’re looking to reel in one of these monsters a full day trip is the way to go.
