Your Fishing Charter

Head out of St. Petersburg Florida aboard Poseidon Fishing Charters! This local pro grew up in the Tampa Bay Area and has been fishing these waters for 2 decades. Novice and seasoned anglers alike are bound to have a great time exploring these productive inshore and offshore fisheries! 

You’ll board a 26’ Crevalle bay boat that’s fully equipped with all the goods. We’re talking 3 live bait wells for the freshest bait, a small toilet inside the console, ample seating and cushions, and lots of shade to keep you out of the blazing Florida sun. Plus, the captain usually fishes from the fly deck so you’ll feel like you have the whole boat to yourself!

Your targets are vast and you’ll employ a variety of techniques to go after them. Inshore you’ll go after famous Florida fish including Snook, Sheepshead, Redfish, and Tripletail. If you head down in the summer, don’t miss out on the chance to go after the Silver King, Tarpon! Offshore you’ll find rod-bending Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and Grouper on the other end of your line.

The captain provides all of the rods, reels, and tackle you need for a productive day. There’s even bowfishing equipment for 2 on board if you’d like to try your hand at something new. All trips include soft drinks and some light snacks. On full days trips, you’ll also have lunch.

Go after some of the ocean's fiercest predators on this 4-hour trip targeted towards Shark fishing. Your reels will be screaming as you battle it out with Blacktip and Bull Sharks on the other end of your line. The captain knows all the best Shark honey holes, and he'll get you to where the action is fast. No need to worry about gear; that's all taken care of. There are also soft drinks and snacks on board so all you need to bring is yourself!

Half Day Trip – Shark

Go after the Silver King himself on this 4-hour trip dedicated to targeting Tarpon! These prehistoric monsters draw anglers from all over the world, hoping to hook a trophy catch every year. The captain provides all of your gear, as well as bait, soft drinks, and snacks. 

Half Day Trip – Tarpon 

There's nothing quite like inshore fishing in Florida! Anglers of all ages and skill levels are bound to have a great time going after Redfish, Sheepshead, Tripletail, and Snook. Whether your goal is filling the cooler or catching a trophy, you'll go home happy. Gear, bait, soft drinks, and some light snacks are all provided. 

Half Day Trip (AM) – Inshore

Spend 4 hours in the productive inshore waters surrounding St. Petersburg! This is a great trip to take with the family or your fishing buddies. Your targets include both tasty and fun to catch fish including Redfish, Snook, Tripletail, and Sheepshead. All of your gear and bait, as well as soft drinks and snacks, are included and waiting for you on board. 

Half Day Trip (PM) – Inshore

If you're hoping to cast your lines in deeper water then the 4-hour offshore trip is the way to go! Depending on the time of year, you'll go for species such as Grouper, Snapper, as well as Blackfin Tuna, and Mahi Mahi. Just make sure to check with the captain what's currently in season and within range of a half day trip. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome aboard. Gear, bait, soft drinks, and snacks are all included and waiting on board. 

Half Day Trip (AM) – Offshore

The offshore waters here are super exciting and your targets will have your lines bending. Depending on the time of year, you'll go for species such as Grouper, Snapper, as well as Kingfish, Blackfin Tuna, and Mahi Mahi. Just make sure to check with the captain what's currently in season and within range of a half day trip. Your captain is happy to show novice anglers the ropes and help seasoned pros land their dream catch. All of your gear and bait are provided, as well as soft drinks and some snacks.

Half Day Trip (PM) – Offshore

Nothing beats inshore fishing in the waters surrounding St. Petersburg. The best part is anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome! Go after super fun to catch targets, including Redfish, Tripletail, Snook, and Sheepshead. In the summertime, you may even land a Tarpon! Your targets are hard fighters and include Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, Amberjack, Cobia, and Grouper. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome, and Capt. Dustin takes care of all your gear, bait, drinks, snacks, and even lunch!
