Discover Florida flats fishing with a local pro aboard “Flat Out Sportfishing”! Head out with Captain Diego Cordova, an expert at navigating the productive shallow waters in the Florida Keys backcountry. Whether you’re fly fishing or spinning there’s no more exciting place to test your sight fishing skills than here!

Your ride for the day is a powerful 24’ Crevalle bay boat that can accommodate up to 4 anglers comfortably. Her wireless trolling motor is essential for sneaking up on those easily spooked shallow dwelling fish. If your targets prefer live bait it’ll stay fresh in the live well, or you can choose from Capt. Diego’s selection of lures. 

Explore depths of up to 20’ in search of Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Bluefish, Snapper, and Cobia, before heading into extremely shallow waters. Here in the flats, the depth is only about 2’ and you’ll find there’s plenty of Bonefish, Permit, small Sharks, and Tarpon to cast for!

All of the gear you need for a productive day spinning and fly fishing is provided. You’re also free to bring your own gear, just consult with Capt. Diego beforehand. He’ll also provide all of your licenses, bait, and a cooler with ice and bottled water. Any other refreshment you’d like to have you’re free to bring along.

Prefer to head out in the afternoon? Then the 4-hour PM trip is the ideal choice for you! You'll sight cast in the productive Florida Keys shallows with spinning and fly fishing gear provided by Capt. Diego. Hook the likes of Permit, Bonefish, Pompano, Snapper, and Bluefish in various depths. There's bottled water on board but you're free to bring any mother refreshments you'd like.

Nothing quite like a full day of fishing in the Florida Keys shallows! 8-hours gives you enough to explore the varying depths in the backcountry and flats while you go after Permit, Pompano, Cobia, and a variety of Snapper. Of course, there's also the opportunity to hook the mighty Tarpon during its season. Capt. Diego provides all of your spinning and fly fishing gear, as well as bottled water and ice. You're free to bring along any other refreshments you'd like to keep you going.
