Come aboard Blackwater Guide Co and experience world-class fishing down in Southwest Florida. Captain Mark Cherny is USGC licensed and insured native captain who specializes in light tackle and fly fishing in SWFL and Everglades National Park.

The captain operates an 18’ Hell’s Bay Boatworks skiff. This lightweight craft is perfect for navigating the shallow waters and comes powered by a 60 HP Honda engine that'll get you to the fishing spots in no time.

The water in this region of the world is plentiful with a great range of fish, which along with its nature makes it a world-class fishing ground. Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Redfish, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail, and Tarpon all inhabit these productive waters. Whether you're fishing on light tackle or fly fishing, Capt. Mark will always be on hand to help you and teach you new techniques if needed.

He's got a great range of fishing tackle but you're always welcome to take your own fly fishing gear along with you. Catch cleaning is also included in the price and your fishing license is also covered. Water and Gatorade are provided but feel free to bring your own drinks as well as food with you. The sun shines powerfully in this neck of the woods so take sunscreen and sunglasses along with you too.

An extra couple of hours casting out is always worth it so Captain Mark offers an in-between adventure. Top of the line fishing gear and an experienced pair of hands to help you are provided as you embark on the Floridian waters in search of some fish. There's a great range of game fish to be caught such as Snook and Redfish, which will be cleaned for you for no extra cost.

Captain Mark will take you out on these subtropical waters in search of the likes of Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Redfish, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail, and Tarpon. He has a great range of conventional and fly fishing gear for you to use to tempt them to take the bite.

Half Day Trip (AM)

Depart later in the day and spend an afternoon prowling the bountiful SWFL waters. This trip is recommended for first-timers to fly fishing and children as half day trips will give you enough time to catch a few while not being too overwhelming. You can expect to hook onto some Tripletail, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Redfish, and Snook on this brief yet engaging adventure.

Half Day Trip (PM)

For those who love to fish and especially fly fish, get this popular trip booked soon! Captain Mark will take you out to his favorite waters in Southwest Florida or even to the Everglades as you go fly fishing together. There's a superb range of fish for you to tempt to a fight but the best one of all is the mighty Tarpon who lurk in these waters.
