Your Fishing Charter

Hatteras has a fish with your name on it, so let Beau Dempsey's Fishing Charters help you catch it! Captain Kenneth will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of local experience. 

Local species include Speckled Trout, Weakfish, Redfish, Black Drum, Cobia, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Shark, Flounder, Sheepshead, and more, depending on when you go. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Over 30 years of experience in the surrounding waters have helped the captain to perfect and dial in fishing techniques and fishing areas that have a record of producing quality catches.

Beau Dempsey's Fishing Charters is a kid-friendly charter service, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Captain Kenneth has 2 young children and loves the opportunity to share his love of fishing with them and any other children that he has the privilege to fish with. 

Capt. Kenneth will bring you aboard a 24' Carolina skiff that holds up to 6 passengers. The boat is not a showboat or the prettiest boat at the dock, but it is a proven fishing platform for these waters. It's big enough to go into the ocean but drafts such little water that it's perfect for drifting very shallow flats for Redfish and Trout. The boat also has a sight casting tower that proves vital when fishing for Cobia and schooling Redfish. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Don't leave home without snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

This is a 4-hour long trip that is spent fishing nearshore and the flats of Pamlico Sound. We can troll, bait fish, or cast jigs during this trip. The type of fishing techniques we'll use will depend on the time of year and what is biting best. Weather always plays into our plans as well. Morning trips run from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., and afternoon trips run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  FOUR PERSON MAX.
