Capt. Kenneth will bring you aboard a 24' Carolina skiff that holds up to 6 passengers. The boat is not a showboat or the prettiest boat at the dock, but it is a proven fishing platform for these waters. It's big enough to go into the ocean but drafts such little water that it's perfect for drifting very shallow flats for Redfish and Trout. The boat also has a sight casting tower that proves vital when fishing for Cobia and schooling Redfish. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Don't leave home without snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). We enjoyed our morning with Capt Beau, he said he’d get us on some fish, he delivered.
Fishing was slow but we caught a 29" drum. Beau worked hard to find the fish but they just weren't there today.

Spent the morning on the sound with Captain Beau. He made everyone in the boat feel comfortable immediately. He did an awesome job explaining to everyone what species we would target and how we would fish for them. We got lucky and got onto fish almost right out of the gate. When the fishing slowed he did his best to get us back in action. The fishing was great and the conversation with Captain Beau was even better. This guy is the real deal and we will definitely be using him again when we come back to Hatteras. He is a world class guy that happens to run a really good fishing charter.
ir was a terrific fishing trip caught 8 but lost just as many. Captain Beu was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Equipment excellent. We broke a pole and lost some lures but he just got us set ip and back on the fish. We will be going with him again in sept 2026 with my son and his wife
When I first arrived at the pier, I thought that this is really not going to be a good trip. I’m tired and wasn’t thrilled about this because my son in law invited me to go. The first thing the Captain did was shake my hand and welcomed me aboard then followed thru with some safety measures. I haven’t fish in years and the waters were clear and calm. Capt Beau was so down to earth and kept all of us a party of 4 having conversations about fishing and his family’s commitment to the ocean and the environment impacts of N C fishing business. After a few cast I caught the first of several spotted trout in our group. The whole time his professional attitude in helping us was 5 Star. I WOULD WITHOUT A DOUBT TELL EVERYONE TO BOOK YOUR fishing trip with his company. A family owned business is the best thing to ever do. I will tell anyone who ask me, fish with Capt Beau and family. I am a second-generation captain that grew up in Hatteras village. My father is an inshore fishing captain, and I was raised fishing and learning from him every chance I got. My father and my 2 brothers all run charters to this day, and we use each other to help aid one another in finding and catching fish. I have fished the local waters for 30 years and worked on many big local boats until I had the money to buy my own boat.
