We had a great time with Captain TJ and caught the Freshwater Slam.we had 5 people in our party including my two grandsons 6 and 8. The boys loved the cast net demonstration from TJ. Moses 8 caught his PB Largemouth Bass and his number 1 bucket list fish a Clown Knife fish while Jonah 6 caught a big male Peacock.

This was by far one of the best experiences my friend and I have ever had on a guided fishing trip! Not only did we get our target fish (Peacock bass). But we were also able to pull in FIVE additional species. We’ve already decided we’ll be booking this guide again when we come back down. Could not recommend him enough!

The fish didn’t seem to want to commit to biting but the captain did his best to get us in some fish and we hooked up with a few nice ones by the end of the trip. It was a pretty windy day and we were just coming out of a cold snap so conditions weren’t in our favor. All in all it was a good day, sun was shining captain had plenty of room on the boat and was prepared with a bunch of live bait.

Two of my buddies and I did a half-day trip with Tim. We had an absolute blast catching some nice peacock and clown fish. He made it very easy for us by supplying rods, baits, and great spots to fish. He knows this body of water like the back of his hand, highly recommend!
