Enjoyed an amazing day of deep sea fishing with Pura Vida Charters! Captain Greg was amazing. We caught our limit of Red Grouper and a lot of Lane Snapper in less than an hour. Then we started sport fishing and caught Amberjacks until we got tired and then capped the day off with a 200+ pound Goliath Grouper! And we had several curious dolphins checking us out as we fished. A rare, perfect day of fishing with my son!

This was our 1st deep sea fishing charter, 4 adults and 2 children (5 & 12 yrs old). Captain Greg and mate Aden were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They put us on fish immediately landing 8 kingfish ,also caught 2 grouper which were out of season and had to throw back. Moved on to limit of snapper. Capt. Greg helped the 5 yr old with the fishing experience. The trip exceeded our expectations and I would book another trip with them in a heartbeat. Great trip!

Captain Greg was very understandable with us, and let us make changes to the trip even with the morning of the trip. We increased it to the full day trip and he was perfectly okay with it. Captain Greg is a very kind and reasonable person who is very experienced in his field. We caught many fish, moved from spot to spot quick if there weren’t big bites, and the filets were wonderfully cut after. Family of 6, ages 18-78 and different levels of fishing experience.  Everyone caught fish, lots of action and a bucket full of keepers including some great grouper we had for dinner last night.  Lots of shade on the boat and a great captain and mate.

Captain Greg and Aidan were fantastic. The group of teenage boys that went today had a fantastic time. They caught 35 fish. Mackerel grouper hog and snapper. They even had a shark on the hook but couldn’t bring it in but that just made the adventure even that more exciting. I highly recommend this to anyone who’s considering a fishing charter.
