Greivin and his first mate Pepsi were terrific! I went out for a half-day of in-shore fishing with my sister, 11yo daughter, and 9yo nephew. We first caught a bunch of sardines as baitfish, and Greivin and Pepsi encouraged the kids to pull in the rods full of fish (up to 5 fish on multiple hooks!), which was fun. Then we tried 2-3 spots for the rest of the morning. We got a few bites, and caught one big Roosterfish, which was amazing. All the time Greivin and Pepsi were really relaxed and pleasant to hang with, they answered our questions. Pepsi worked really hard to get us as many fish as possible; he always had a line in the water, and encouraged the kids to take over the rod once it was cast. They were very laid-back about us casting the rods, and they taught us proper technique. They had a fully-stocked cooler with soda, water, beer, and some chips to snack on. The boat was a good size for the 4 of us. I’d definitely go out with Greivin again if I get back to Quepos! Thanks for a memorable morning, Captain.

I’ve been dreaming of catching fish like sailfish and marlin for decades and Capt Rosales made my dream a reality!  I don’t think it was a great day for catching a lot of fish (as some other boats had minimal or no catches), but this crew’s persistance paid off!  I landed a sailfish, then a mahi, and finally the coveted marlin!!!  It was quite literally the perfect combination of sportfish and dinner later that night at our resort.  These guys went the extra mile (actually ~30 miles) to get me exactly what I requested and it paid off.  The results speak for themselves - this charter company is top notch!  Their Facebook webpage is proof that they know what they are doing.

Captain Greivin and Kevin made sure we had the best experience we could and I am so grateful! Out of the of 5 of us- only 2 (the chicas 💃) were able to land sailfish. That was pretty early into our 3/4 day trip and they tried so hard to get us more.  After hearing other boats talking on the radio and many others were getting nothing we knew how lucky we were to have the day we had.

In the absence of fish there was fresh pineapple, snacks, drinks, music, and conversation….also some naps on the rolling deep ocean waves.  We 💯 recommend Grey’s Charter! Pura Vida!!!

Captain Greivin and Esteban (first mate) were terrific! Very funny, helpful and friendly! Highly recommend! Put us on lots of fish and brought home bags of tuna. The first mate Esteban made us a nice tuna platter from the tuna we caught on the boat for a snack and pineapple! 😄
We fished next to a huge pod of dolphins (60 plus) which was heavenly for me to watch all of them jump and twirl out of the water! We saw turtles and huge rays. The sail was the highlight of the day! My bf and I really enjoyed ourselves! PURA VIDA!

We had a great time, caught a huge Rooster and missed a few others.
Captain and Mate were.on spot with everything, They were very knowledge about fishing and the area. They were friendly and a positive.
Caught a nice rooster in a slow fishing period, only because of Captain and 1st mates knowledge and experience.
Recommend them for any type of fishing in Quepos.
