I have been fishing ever since I could remember. I landed my first Steelhead at the ripe age of 6, and ever since then, I have been absolutely obsessed with river fishing. Every spare second I have ever had I spent on the river. The addiction turned into a Career when I was 20 years old. And over the past 10 years, I have made some amazing relationships with some truly amazing people. One of the many perks of this career is the laughs had over fish-with customers that turned friends in a matter of hours!

    Forged a Bassmaster!

    Half day bass, pike or trout fishin • 2 adults

    Captain RJ gave our city boy crew an awesome education in fishing in the Michigan lakes...one of our cousins caught 8 Bass in a row using the techniques from Captain RJ -- we all continued to catch some fish. Captain RJ trained our cousin Alex into The Bassmaster - we look forward to fishing with him again for Salmon season.

    Had a great time fishing with captian RJ. he was very knowledgeable and friendly. very easy going and patient for a beginner like me. we were on fish most of the day even during the harder evening hours.

    We had a great time fishing with Captain RJ. It was mine and my families first time doing something like this and he taught us to fish, and showed us a great time! Would highly recommend!

    I still have a couple king dates open and things are still going strong on the big Manistee river. Steelhead are showing up and we cant wait to be chasing some high flying fish!!

    This season has been nothing short of amazing! Every trip we have fish the net. And was Even able to wrangle in our first fall steelhead of the year yesterday!! I don’t have too many dates open for Kings but the couple I have you guys better grab them because you’re missing one heck of a season
