Amazing afternoon with Capt. Josh!  He went out of his way to give my family the complete experience.  First, my daughter was dying to catch a shark, and we saw plenty even if they weren’t hungry-hooked a big one but the shark had other plans.  He recognized the large floating object quickly and promptly steered ahead where we saw a gigantic manta ray!  Dolphins played around the boat.  Then time for serious fishing.  We didn’t catch a ton, but what we caught counted big.  My Cobia was quite an adventure itself!  Our trip didn’t end there.  He made sure our daughter visited crab island-so much fun.  Very professional.  Very energetic.  Highly recommend!  We will fish with him again!!!!!  Only regret - Madi wanted a pic with the funnest Captain ever!  You will not be disappointed with his service.

I was thinking we would head out early but left the dock around 9:30. The Conditions were perfect. Josh is a great captian and an even better guy. He is very diverse in what fish he can target, pretty much anything on the coast. I fished with him on spring break a few years ago, we limited out on sheepshead, when all the other boats struggled. Sharks…he will fish them all day with you if you want. Very Chill captian he loves what he does and boy is he good. The boat isnt big but just what you need to fish the destin water. I would also add that his rods are Quantum PT very nice setup, I appriciate good tackle. This trip we couldnt seem to find the Macks they are few and far between, there was bonita everywhere(great shark bait) Fun to fight. We saw tarpon, no redfish, ended the day with at least 12 snapper that we couldnt eat because out of season, one nice grouper but caught 4 total. It was a blast, this is coming from a guy who grew up fishing the florida keys for pelagic gamefish, this place is not keys but josh sure makes it feel that way! High five Josh! Will be fishing with you soon.

Our family started fishing with Josh years ago after I walked into a tackle shop and asked for a local captain that was a true fisherman. The person behind the counter handed me Josh’s card and said this is who you need to call, I called and scheduled a trip and we’ve fished with Josh ever since and never had a bad trip. Since then I’ve recommended Josh to many of my friends and they all have called me and thanked me for the referral. I highly recommend Josh, he’s patient, friendly and always goes over and above to make the trip fun.

There is a reason Bill Dance only fishes with captain Josh when he is in town filming his tv show, because Josh puts him on the bite big time. That’s what he did for us as well. We caught something like 50 red fish and I had to quit because my arms were spent. When I am in Destin I will only fish with captain Josh!

Had an amazing time fishing!! We caught an endless number of fish!! Mr Nelson had some great spots. At the end of the trip he cleaned and package the fish we had caught for the day!! Could not have asked for a more knowledgeable and friendly Captain! Great experience! Best i have had in the Emerald Coast!!
