We had a great experience on Riptide. Fishing was slow to start out, but listening to the radio chatter all the boats were having a rough go. Sounded like the hurricane that hit the gulf a few days earlier was throwing things off their usual behavior. Captain was persistent trying different spots and we finally got on it. Had a great finish to our trip. If I had to do it over again, I’d probably do a 6 hr instead of a 4 hr.

I booked this excursion for my family from ages 6 all the way up to grand parents. This was a great time for all. The entire trip had a laid back, intimate feel and we were well taken care of by Captain Scott and Gage. The description of the trip was accurate so we can well prepared with any snacks and drinks we needed. Scott and Gage were knowledgeable, fun to talk to, and made sure we went where the fish were. Fisher, the deck hand, was great to us! They were both very accommodating. Although, we had half of our people getting sick the whole time, lol. They were very helpful with the kids when it came to catching fish! They had such a great time and forever memories.  We definitely recommend using Rip Tide! We caught a lot of fish!

We had a blast fishing with Captain Seth and his deckhand Gage. They were great with the kiddos and were quick to put us on the fish. We caught everything from Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Bonita and even a nice sized Barracuda. The biggest catches of the day were a couple of huge Amberjack that were unfortunately out of season, but a lot of fun to reel in anyway. We will definitely be booking another charter on RipTide with Captain Seth the next time we visit Gulf Shores.

Seth and the crew, were on time and ready to go when we arrived. The fish weren’t biting as usual, but Seth and the crew did everything to put us on the fish, which we did , I will book with them again, professional and fun we had a great day on the water, thanks
