Windy days and shallow water muttons

When the wind is blowing and you can’t get way offshore there should always be a plan B, espically during the months of January through March. This is the time of the year we’re you can have great action on the shallow patch reefs. I like to have plenty of fresh or live bait and anchor up and work an area to target big mutton snappers that cruise around shallow reefs any where from 10 to 40 foot of water . This is a great trip for all types of anglers and can be done in a 4 hour to 8 hour reef trip .
