Against The Grain Charters is all about making sure you have a great experience on the water. Captain Charlie Rogers is a South Florida native, and he has been into fishing ever since he was a kid. His knowledge of the local waters and skill in many types of fishing techniques is what keeps his customers on the fish.
The boat you'll be fishing on is a 28' WhiteWater center console that's powered by a pair of 200 HP Yamaha engines. It's outfitted with all the necessary safety and navigation gear needed for a safe and productive journey, and other amenities such as outriggers and a live well for bait are sure to come in handy. There's plenty of room on the boat for up to six anglers, making it perfect for bringing some friends along for the ride.
Depending on what you want to do, you can go fishing offshore for Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, Tuna and much more. Alternatively, stay near the reef where you will target those tasty bottom fish such as Grouper, Red Snapper, Hogfish, and others. If you want to do some tournament-style fishing for Mahi Mahi to get a feel of that authentic experience, Captain Charlie can arrange that too.
The price of a trip includes rods, reels, and terminal tackle, as well as complimentary cleaning of the catch after the trip. Feel free to bring along some drinks and snacks, and it's very much recommended you have a pair of sunglasses and a hat with you, so you can be comfortable during the whole trip.

On vacation with the family and my daughter was interested in going fishing witb me. We booked with Against the Grain and Capt Charlie and had a great day out on the water. Caught a bunch of fish and made some memories. Capt Charlie is very knowledgeable and great to talk to. would recommend to anyone looking for a great day on the water.
Captain Rodgers was extremely friendly, understanding, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He helped make a last-second trip become reality, and it was some of the best fishing I’ve done. I honestly couldn’t thank him enough for his accommodations. I compared a lot of different choices for charters, and overall, Against the Grain seemed like the best one. After actually going, it did not disappoint one bit. I’d recommend Captain Rodgers and Against the Grain to anyone looking to go on a charter, he’s the best there is

We first tried to get some mutton snappe bu they werent biting. we then headed out to find some Mahi. we came up ona few patches of sawgrass but we didnt have any luck. Finally we found some birds and the fight was on. we wound up with over 20 Mahi. Dinner for a few nights. Capt was great and put us where we needed to be.
Captain Charlie Rogers has been knee-deep into fishing ever since he could hold a rod on his own. He's a South Florida native and has fished from the Florida Keys to Miami, Bahamas, and Louisiana. He worked on several boats in the early stages of his career until he decided to go at it on his own, and hasn't looked back since.
