We signed up for a spring chinook trip.First thing Matt says,the bite won’t start foe a few hours. If you want i can put you on some rockfish before we start. Off we went and caught some rock fish.Then back into the river. By the end of the trip our boat had caught 2/3 of the fish caught today. Matt truly focuses on putting his customers on the fish. Thanks for a great experience today Matt.

Matthew was a very knowledgeable and competent Captain, even though we didn’t catch a fish I would charter another fishing trip with him. The reason we didn’t get any fish was it was the end of the run, planning on booking a fall salmon trip with plug & Bug again.

Needed to book relatively last minute and captain Mathew was able to accommodate. Went with my 14 year old son. Mathew was prompt and ready as soon as we arrived and had us on the water within minutes. Mathew knew exactly where to take us and got us on BIG salmon and we were able to fill our tags. He was pleasant, professional, and very hardworking. Can’t recommend him enough. 10/10.

3 fishermen, a 14 year old and his Dad and me. All of us would have caught limit had I not lost one within 8’ of the boat. Just out of nets reach. The boy and Dad got their limit. Matthew was a great guide , very attentive to us all plus guiding the boat. Perfect boat for the waters we were in. Highly recommend.

Matthew worked hard to keep us in the action and to fill up some sacks of fish and crab for us.  Salmon wasn’t going very good so he had a back up plan. Ended up with some nice large crabs, bucket full of rockfish, and we had two hookups and Salmon that didn’t stick…. Fun day overall.
