  Great time on the big manistee

  4 Hour Trip – Big Manistee River PM on October 10, 2025 • 2 adults

  We met Dale at the launch at 3:30 and by 4:00 we were catching fishing. We caught alot of fish and had great time. Dale is a great captain and knows the river well.

  First Charter Trip

  5 Hour Trip – Saginaw Bay (PM) on June 29, 2025 • 3 adults

  We couldn’t have picked a better day. The weather and water was so calm. It was our first time on a charter and it did not disappoint. It started out a little slow but when we moved location; we started catching fish. We loved Captain Dale. He felt like part of the family. He let us help him and explained everything to us. I can’t wait to go again. We are going to go soon. It also helped that his prices are good and he even cleaned the fish and bagged it up. Can’t wait for the next one. I have already recommended him to many of our friends. Thank you so much!🎣🐟🐟❤️

  A Good Time

  5 Hour Trip – Salmon (PM) on August 29, 2025 • 2 adults

  The weather and conditions were perfect on Friday evening, the 29th. Captain Dale was awesome. He provided everything. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions about a range of fishing topics. We didn't catch anything for most of the trip, (nobody around was doing much either) but then near the end, we each got to experience catching some big King Salmon! It was a thrill! Captain Dale took care of all the cleaning and packaging too! We enjoyed the whole trip and experience. We would definitely use DD Charter again!

  Captain Dale was great! Original scheduled trip was postponed because of weather. He was VERY flexible and accommodating to make sure we were able to get our trip in. Because of the storms the night before, fishing was a little slow….but Captain Dale used multiple strategies to try and get us on fish. Ultimately we did catch fish, and had a great trip. We booked a 3 hour trip, not knowing what to expect….but after our trip, we will most definitely book a 6 hour trip next time!
