    First Charter Trip

    5 Hour Trip – Saginaw Bay (PM) • 3 adults

    We couldn’t have picked a better day. The weather and water was so calm. It was our first time on a charter and it did not disappoint. It started out a little slow but when we moved location; we started catching fish. We loved Captain Dale. He felt like part of the family. He let us help him and explained everything to us. I can’t wait to go again. We are going to go soon. It also helped that his prices are good and he even cleaned the fish and bagged it up. Can’t wait for the next one. I have already recommended him to many of our friends. Thank you so much!🎣🐟🐟❤️

    A Good Time

    5 Hour Trip – Salmon (PM) • 2 adults

    The weather and conditions were perfect on Friday evening, the 29th. Captain Dale was awesome. He provided everything. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions about a range of fishing topics. We didn't catch anything for most of the trip, (nobody around was doing much either) but then near the end, we each got to experience catching some big King Salmon! It was a thrill! Captain Dale took care of all the cleaning and packaging too! We enjoyed the whole trip and experience. We would definitely use DD Charter again!

    Great Experience

    5 Hour Trip – Saginaw Bay (PM) • 2 adults

    Captain Dale was great! Original scheduled trip was postponed because of weather. He was VERY flexible and accommodating to make sure we were able to get our trip in. Because of the storms the night before, fishing was a little slow….but Captain Dale used multiple strategies to try and get us on fish. Ultimately we did catch fish, and had a great trip. We booked a 3 hour trip, not knowing what to expect….but after our trip, we will most definitely book a 6 hour trip next time!

    Salmon Trip out of Ludington

    5 Hour Trip – Salmon (PM) • 2 adults • 1 child

    Did an evening trip out of Ludington with Caption Dale. Ended up going 3 for 6 that evening. 21ft kingfisher handled the waves great and he was great with my 5 year old son on the boat. Would highly recommend fishing captain Dale. Very knowledgeable.

    Best charter fishing trip ever! We have had 3 in the Gulf of Mexico and 1 in the Pacific and this was better. We caught fish and had a great time. We did the evening trip. I would highly recommend Double D. We will be booking for next year!

    Dale outperformed on all levels. I can’t think of anything he could have done better. Excellent equipment, well organized, thorough, oh yeah, put us on fish all day !

Hot bite!

Fishing has been great lately with fishing moving out to deeper water. Running crawler harnesses in 25+ FOW has been the ticket. As long as mother nature plays nice we’ve been able to keep anglers on fish.
