We had a fantastic experience on our trip. Although we were slightly early in the season and didn’t quite reach our limit as hoped, it was certainly not due to any lack of effort on Robert’s part. He demonstrated exceptional dedication, continuously adjusting locations, techniques, and lures to give us every possible opportunity for success. His knowledge of the river, the fish, and the local community is truly unparalleled. He went above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect.

Captain Robert puts in effort to give his Clients a great experience. I was skeptical since he was the lowered price guide but I was proven at the end of our trip that he’s outstanding. He was on time, Kind, professional, knowledgeable and very patient with anglers of all skills. He prioritized his passengers having a great trip and I will be going fishing with him again. We did a family trip to Alaska and salmon fishing was top on the list of adventures.  We fished with Robert at Scout Lake Adventures. Robert supplied all of the gear we needed. We went out in his boat and found a spot along the river bank. None of us had been salmon fishing before, Robert was patient and showed us the proper way to cast for salmon. Robert and his deck hand were fantastic. He went through so much during the planning process to get out at the perfect time during our visit to Alaska. He even called me to tweak the schedule due to a cold and rainy day. He was willing to go in the rain but allowed for a different time on a sunny day. We caught some beautiful fish.
