There’s a fish with your name on it in Kenai and Scout Lake Adventures will help you catch it! Captain Robert will be your guide, giving you access to years of angling experience.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Sockeye Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Pink Salmon, Arctic Char, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Dolly Varden, Grayling, and anything else that bites.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Robert also offers fly fishing.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Robert runs a 21’ Willie Boats aluminum fishing vessel that holds up to 8 passengers. It has outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Scout lake adventures will make it easy for you to go fishing in Kenai. So, how about booking that trip?
