Thank you for the review.  We strive our best to give our charters the experience they are looking for each and every day, even agreeing to changing your start time to 6am at your request.  That puts your crew on the boat at 5am to prepare for the day.  Per one of your other requests “Hoping for them to experience the reel music of a gaffer mahi. A trip where their arms are noodles from reeling in a few big ones to get them addicted. Tan lines from the fighting belt kind of day. I know things don’t always go that way, but what the heck, it did say to list special requests. I’d like to go for mahi all day and whatever else we catch along the way would be a bonus. “. We gave you everything but catching mahi.  Like you yourself said, we can’t control what fish are biting out here but we are going after them.  You guys caught a good amount of fish and from what Capt. Lucas told me, had a great time fighting them which was a request of yours.  Even bringing in 2 nice tunas in addition to your 6 other fish and so happy with your crew that you thanked them and left them a very nice tip.  You had requested enough mahi to feed your family for a week but they just weren’t biting.  In fact in communicating throughout the day with the other captains on the water as we do every day, nobody was catching mahi.  I had a full day charter on my other boat with me and able to run 10+ miles offshore because we had the time to do so and went looking for them and still only caught 3 mahi in addition to bonitas that you also caught all day.  If there was a way for me to call the fish and let them know we were coming to catch them, I absolutely would have but I think you know there’s not.  So no matter how much fun you all had catching fish today, some people just can’t be made happy.
