Captain John and DK were very knowledgeable and attentive, putting us on fish most of the day. Though we did not catch as much as we wanted due to rough currents, we caught a good variety including Red and Black Snapper, Cobia, Triggerfish, King Mackerel, and a very large shark. Captain was very accommodating to our 7 year old, helping him snag a few fish too!  Hoping to return when the waters are calmer, but would definitely recommend King Slayer for your PCB fishing adventures.

We had a great day on the boat with Captain John and the crew. Everyone caught fish. We trolled a bit since we were all concerned about the weather then got lucky and cruised out for some red snapper! Everyone was friendly and we just trusted the captain and went with the flow and it turned out to be an outstanding day on the water. I didn’t see any other boats that could catch snapper on a 4-hour trip but captain John knew exactly where to go with his speedy boat. Highly recommend!

The Captain John and his firstmate Mike made our first Shark fishing experience one we will never forget. They explained everything we needed to do to be successful when reeling. My husband knows how to fish and didn’t need much guidance but I was a bit more challenging and poor Mike got stuck with me. Although I reeled backwards and got the line twisted because I reeled it up too far a few times he was very patient and got the rod ready for the next cast. I eventually got the hang of it but only because he was gracious and patient. We did catch some smaller sharks and kept one to eat. Although the sharks weren’t huge, the experience was. If you can’t have fun with these guys it’s your own fault. We will definitely book with them for shark or any other fishing charter they do

We booked a 3 hour night shark fishing trip. Captain John stayed in contact with me and advised a better time for the tide to better our chances of catching a shark. The 1st bite we got was something massive, as it chewed through a 60 lb lead leader line. In a short time we got another bite which we were unable to land and then landed 2 sharp nose sharks back to back. Had a few more hits but we’re unable to land them. When we returned, Captain John’s deck hand cleaned and cut our shark up for us into steaks to take home and the Jaw of teeth as well. We had a great time. It was myself, my son, and fiance. We had the best time and we will be back for another fishing trip with Captain John. And we enjoyed his deck hand equally as much.  They were both fun to be around and we did what we set out to do. We caught shark.
