lots of people on Tamerindo beach ready to take you out fishing for much less than what you will pay on the site.  The site will charge you more and trap you in a cancellation policy knowing you will find cheaper fishing options once you get here.  I did one trip through the site and booked three other trips through guys on the beach.  I saved hundreds of dollars.

I want to start with saying I understand that sometimes you go out and don’t catch anything it happens. But when we started the mate didn’t even know how to tie the boat up. We got out there and we started seeing tuna jumping everywhere and all the boats around us were hooking but we couldn’t get a single hook up.Then I ask the captain if we had a top water reel and he had the mate to pull it out and set it up. A good captain would already have it ready. Then the mate didn’t know how to cast it and by the time I said I would just do it the school left and we couldn’t get on them anymore. Also I brought my wife and there is no where to sit on the boat without getting soaking wet which would have been completely okay if we actually caught fish
