  fun friendly fishing

  3 hour trip on September 25, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 child

Had a geay trip with HotReels and Captain Will! We wee in the area and my fshing obsessed teenager had n luck at the Vilano Pier. To hopefully save our vacation I booked a last minute trip wih Hot Reels. Captain Aldon was very communicative and recommended a date change due to weather conditions. Tis ended up working out great for us. Despite the very windy conditions Captain Will kept us on fish the whole trip and we caught a lot of fish. Just enough "keepers" for several delicious dinners. He even filleted them up for us. My boys and I had a grea time and would absolutely recommend HotReels for a fun day out on the water.

  Making Memories

  4 Hour Inshore Trip on June 12, 2026 • 6 adults • 2 children

Captain Alden and First Mate Will run an organized, safe, fun, and top notch charter. We had a phenomenal trip on our inshore fishing experience. The boat is comfortable, the guys were experienced and great with all ages. We had 3 generations on our 6 person trip and made some wonderful memories together. These guys put us on the fish, catered to every person, keeping us baited up, taking care of things before we even asked. We caught red and black drum, enough for fresh dinner and the freezer! They were patient and very willing to answer questions and teach our first time fishers the very basics. It is a win for us when my 6 year old granddaughter now loves fishing like I do. Thank you Captain Alden and Will!!! We will definitely be back.

Great time for avid fisherman or otherwise

  4 Hour Inshore Trip on September 30, 2026 • 5 adults

Alden and Will were great hosts for us on a 4 hour fishing trip during a family trip to St. Augustine. Both were on top of their game when it came to re-baiting lines, unhooking fish, and offering as much (or as little) help as each individual wanted. Morning started off a little slow on the fish catching front, but they were proactive in moving us around the ICW to eventually find a nice school of black drum.

Hot Reels - With Capt “Will”

  5 Hour Trip - 1:00 PM on July 1, 2026 • 1 adult

For Anyone Reading, This was my first time out with Hot Reels; first time with a true a private charter. Previously have been on multiple Deep Sea Party Charters and was blessed to finally be able to go on a private. Capt. Alden communicated from beginning, any questions, to the day off. Pleasantly took off with Capt Will and had an amazing trip with a young man, knowledgeable, charismatic, and humble! Placed on lots of fish, some keepers, some not but at the end of the day, we FISHED the entire the entire trip!! “I’ll Be Back 😉!”
