Bobby Lavender is your captain! We’ve never experienced such a kind, generous and committed host. He called us the day before our charter and recommended changing our departure time in order for the children to enjoy cooler temperatures. He was spot on! It was dark as we pulled away from the pier (Bobby arrived exactly in-time, as promised) and soon we were watching the sunrise across the bay. Spectacular! Next, he took us to a “sweet spot” where he was confident the children (ages 5, 7 and 8) would experience the best fishing. Boy, was he on target. We pulled in a huge variety of fish and every catch was a joy. Bobby taught us so much. We also saw stingrays, sharks and dolphins. What?!? Yep, it was that good. We returned to the dock in time to say our goodbyes then head to breakfast to celebrate our stories. Bobby Lavender is a very special man and I’m so thankful we had this experience with him.

Can’t say enough about our experience with Captain Bobby Lavender. A lot can go wrong with booking a fishing trip, but Captain Bobby did everything in his power to get us on the water fishing on time with great bait and plenty of equipment to use for the trip. He made tackle recommendations for me because I was using my own gear and my girlfriend was using the gear he brought and it was in great shape and worked flawlessly. As soon as we got to our first stop we hooked up with some big Bull Reds and he gave advice and tips to land the fish with ease. We ended up both tagging two big bull reds and released 6 others to fight another day. We also caught a handful of speckled trout and were able to get one slot sized fish in the boat to bring home. The entire trip was enjoyable from start to finish and I can’t recommend him enough and I will definitely be booking again in the future!

Captain Bobby was a phenomenal guide and we highly recommend him. Being an avid fisherman I wasn’t too worried about catching, but since we had 3 little boys on board with us I wanted to make sure they had a memorable experience and that is what Bobby provided. From rigging to casting to helping land the catch, Bobby went over and above to make sure we had a blast. He even knew a great spot where my son landed his first ever bull red. Definitely will use Captains Bobby’s guide service again!

Bobby was a great captain and knew just what the fish were hungry for! We Did not have a 5 minute span where we were not hooked up on something! We will book again for sure!
