Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Background
As a Hawaiiian born and son of a fisherman I had a rod in my hand from my earliest memories. I fished with my father around the world including the Indian Ocean,Hawaii, Bay of Bengal, Gulf of Siam, West Coast USA. As I became older the attraction of fishing in Cabo San Lucas became my dream, I started in the fleet in 1983, moved to the Cape and never looked back. Its been 34 years of hardcore fishing thruout the Baja Peninsula, Sea of Cortez, and the west coast of mainland Mexico Life is good and we are out again tomorrow!
Techniques
We fish many different techniques onboard Picudo. It varies with the time of year and the fish we are chasing. We are big fans of pulling dead baits, teasers, daisy chains, as well as lures, and always have a fresh bait in the tank ready to pitch! We fish biggame offshore and smallgame light tackle inshore. We spcialize in kids fishing, there's nothing better than getting the little buddies hooked for life. We welcome novice fisherman and are eager to teach and share our knowledge.

We had a lot of fun on the day long trip. Between the 6 guys in our group we got 26 fish! And even though we couldn’t get the Marlins to bite we had good luck with Tuna and Trigger fish. We even got a baby Mahi Mahi. We kept a good bit of the day’s catch and took it to a local restaurant that Casey recommended where they prepared sashimi tuna and grilled tuna and trigger. It was an excellent day! Thanks Casey!

IT WAS AWESOME! Couldn’t have had a better experience. It was my first time deep sea fishing and Captain Casey and his crew exceeded all expectations. I never have to look for another charter in the Cabo area again. I found the one I will use every time.

slow fishing, but cap’n Casey never backed from trying. He was going from to spot trying, burning a lot of fuel in the process. He gave us over a full day fishing, truly working, not just going thru the motions.
His deckhands worked continuously staying ahead, prepared for the fishing moment and frenzy involved.
Their total dedication to the captain and our fishing and comfort shows the professional work ethic rarely seen in today’s world.
Highly recommended and first class service

Great boat, great crew! We had a great experience fishing with Casey and his crew aboard Picudo. Being an owner/captain boat I feel we had a more personal experience. Plus is was a great feeling that we were contributing to an owner/captain aboard his own boat. Thank you Casey!
