We experienced an amazing day with Casey and crew fishing! It was an unforgettable day, and it was possible because of the great knowledge, skill, and work that Casey, Jorje, and Poli put into it. I have more details below, but if you want the short summary: believe the near perfect ratings from so many reviewers, and that this team that has fished these waters for so many decades together are the very finest crew you could have lead you on a fishing tour. 

For some details…

We had an INCREDIBLE day of fishing! We caught 1 marlin and 2 dorado early, which I attribute to the preparation and plan from Casey and crew. Later on the trip, we caught 3 more marlin (with a few more on the line) and another dorado, which was due to Casey’s instincts and experience, and the keen eye and hard work of Jorje and Poli. There are a lot of factors that determine fishing success, and this team’s abilities and efforts absolutely maximized our chances for success, which were fully realized in a great day. Everyone that could actually catch a marlin caught one, and my 11 year old son caught a great dorado (with a little help)!

If that weren’t enough, we also had a great day riding in the front of the boat, which is a great feature of its walk around design. We were able to watch humpback whales breach the water and swim in front of us, as well as dolphins and other wildlife around us. This experience was even better as Casey offered his insights into the wildlife, the ocean, and fishing while we were up there. We got a wildlife tour and experience on top of the fishing!

I cannot say enough about Casey and the crew as well. In addition to the fishing wisdom and the hard work, they were just so friendly and professional. This made us feel really comfortable, and made they day really fun, like being with some “fishing buddies” you’d known for a while - even though this was our first time out with them. They just really contributed to a great experience together.

In sum, we had a full day of amazing and priceless memories together, and we are very appreciative to Casey, Jorje, and Poli for making it all happen. You can be sure it is my goal to one day do it again. Highest of recommendations.

Booked with a full day with Captain Casey & Crew last weekend and had a great time. We landed 3 Dorado in the first hour or so and then then more later in the day.  We also fished closer to shoreline to catch some Sierra mid morning and then spent the rest of the day chasing the marlin. No luck with the billfish, but not for lack of trying as the captain worked longer than expected in the effort. Still had a great day of fishing while making memories with my son and friends and happy to bring back a bunch of fresh Mahi and Sierra for dinner.

We are returning guests to the Picudo and hope to be back again in September. The boat is always sparkling clean and very well equipped. The crew is over the top and unlike many other boats, these folks have worked together for many years. Rightly so, the captain is very proud that his crew has enjoyed fishing with him for a very long time and the collective knowledge and experience is evident.
We charter a number of times a year and I can tell you that this is absolutely my favorite boat and crew. I wish this site would allow me to give 6 stars because that is what the crew deserves.

Took my family out today for 1/2 fishing trip to get some fish to eat Captain Casey recommended trolling for Dorado. Morning started with him explaining the boat to us life jackets , restrooms , food/bev etc. The boat which is not brand new is well kept and maintained with plenty of room for 8 of us. Top of the line equipment and plenty of bait. Started trolling and within 5 minutes we had our first fish. Later in the morning we had multiple hook ups . After we had our 5 we headed out to see if we could get a Marlin but were unsuccessful but the team worked hard changing bait , lures etc. I have fished with other Cabo companies and let’s just say after fishing with Capt Casey .. No Mas!! He has been fishing down here for close to 30 years knows his stuff. Great crew and boat.

We went out with Captain Casey and crew today. It was awesome! He has 40 years of experience and his crew is definitely hard working and in sync. They took care of the licenses, food, and drinks. Just bring some sun protection and get ready to have a good time.

We caught 2 Marlins and a HammerHead Shark. Would’ve caught a 3rd Marlin if my line didn’t break. That is why they call it a fight! Sometimes they win! We just did catch and release, but it was an awesome thrill/time! Definitely will be going out with Captain Casey on our future endeavors.

We had a great day, but understand the fish have to want to bite too. Captain Casey will use his experience to put ya where you have a high chance of catching great fish! Then his crew will help ya reel them in! Love this TEAM!
