    Birthday Fishing Adventure

    For my son‘s 15th birthday, we hired Corey to help us catch some keeper reds for a fish fry the following day. The experience did not disappoint, as Captain Cory showed my son a side of Aransas Bay he had never seen. His boat allowed us to get into places that others simply were not going. Although we caught other fish, we only kept three reds—measuring 23, 25, and 28 inches. Out of all the years we’ve spent fishing together, my son said this adventure was the best. I will absolutely charter Reel Adventures with Captain Corey Bickford again.

    Great trip, tons of fish

    1/2 day pm bay fishing • 2 adults • 1 child

    My husband and pre-teen son had an amazing time and caught tons of fish. They did jetty fishing and a couple other spots and got redfish and mangrove snapper. My husband is still talking about how cool Corey’s trawling motor is. Great experience, would book with Corey again. I didn’t go on the trip, but communication before hand was easy and clear.

    Wonderful experience !

    Was my 8 y/o grandson first time fishing. Captain Cory gave him a wonderful experience! Patient with teaching him, engaged him about the process and the waiting. He caught lots of fish, learned about casting. We had a great time on the water and my grandson came back wanting to fishing again! Thank you for a great time out on the water!

    Great morning on the water!

    Captain Cory's attention to my family's enjoyment of the trip and safety was the bet part of the trip for me. He kept us on the fish, and where he could made sure my Son was dragging as many as possible. We alwys felt safe when we were moving from spot to spot. Lastly Cory making sure no one got motion sickness or dehydrated shows he really cares for his customers. Thank you for a great experience! We will be booking again next time we come down.

    Captain Corey left such a great impression

    Best experience I could have asked for! Captain Corey handled everything, and my 13 y.o. granddaughter and her 2 friends had a blast! We caught fish and watching them light up warmed my heart. Now we have 3 more hooked on fishing for life because Captain Corey can read his clients and communicates very well. He knows how to blend fishing and fun that's for sure. Would recommend to anyone .. Just catch him quick 😁

    The captain knew where the fish were, and ensured that we had a fun and fish filled trip! Caught limit fairly quickly, so we moved to another spot for a different type of fish. He did a great job fileting our catch. Will definitely book with him again.

    One of the best fishing trips ever! Corey put me on ‘em!!! We were releasing fish due to hitting our limit early. Trout, reds, flounder. I definitely recommend Corey for your fishing trip.

    Awesome half day on the water for my son’s 17th birthday! Corey was great and worked non stop to make sure we were all set up. I definitely recommend Corey to anyone looking for a great fishing experience.

    Corey took my son and I out for a 1/2 day trip and it was everything I was hoping for. Corey knew the best spots and my son caught several fish and learned alot. I would happily recommend Corey and we will definatey use his services again next time we head down to Port A.

You still face a dilemma when deciding where to go fishing in November, with Tuna, Marlin, and Wahoo biting offshore, along with King Mackerel. Meanwhile, Redfish, Trout, Black Drum, and Tarpon are aplenty inshore.

Specs on the bay!

Fall patterns have begun, we have started to see monster red fish show up in the bay. Looks like they are gearing up for a great red run this september and october. Trout fishing was great before this cold front/wind blast we’ve got. Once the sun comes back out and se warm up, it should resume. We have the makings for a great end of sumer and beginning of fall.

One off the Bucket List

Maverick had one goal in mind, catch his first King Fish. We trolled in a few different areas using a large blue diving lure, when his reel started screaming. Nothing will ever replace the smile on his face when he finally had it in the boat!

King Limit!

LIMITED OUT ON KINGS!! On the water at 6 am, with a group of 5. We fished all artificial, and hit our limit by noon! We had a Reel Adventure!
