Yesterday my family enjoyed an absolutely perfect day aboard the Crunch Time with TJ and Dave. Although my son and I had limited fishing experience, my wife, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters had nearly none. While Dave piloted from one fishing spot to another, TJ taught my granddaughters everything thing they needed to know. It was exactly at their level (12 & 16) and pretty soon they were hauling in fish.

The catch was nothing short of spectacular. As advertised for the “Kids” package, we were in calm water east of Montauk Lighthouse bottom fishing for porgies and sea bass equipped with a sinker and two hooks. Many times we got strikes the moment the sinker hit bottom. We had SIX times when there was a fish on each the two hooks!  We lost track of the huge catch and TJ estimated 50-70 fish among the 6 of us. They call it fishing, but today it was catching.

This trip was the highlight of the granddaughter’s visit and they had an absolutely wonderful time. We’re so grateful to TJ and Dave. The trip was worth every penny.

We had an awesome trip for 9 anglers, including our boys, who had an incredible time reeling in slot sized bass.  Capt TJ and Brian on the Crunch time are an outstanding team and worked hard getting us on the fish.  Definitely plan on more trips on the Crunch time.

Captain is knowledgeable, friendly and great with clients from brand new to fishing to experienced, young to old. Caught a ton of fish. My nephews had an absolute blast and we will be repeat customers. Highly recommended!

Captain TJ was cool, put us on the fish and gave us a lot of fishing information. Caught plenty of sea bass and porgy with many keepers. Looking forward to our next trip.
