Background: I have been fishing since the age of 8 and have been a resident of Galveston Island, Texas for the past 14 years. I have been fishing and boating for most of my life and have been guiding full time the past 8 years. I consider fishing more passion than sport and it is my goal is to make every angler aboard the Contender feel as if they are fishing with a friend, not a guide. I love to target all species of fish, but my favorite thing to fish for is shark. Most people enjoy a great fight, and pound for pound, a big shark is the best fighting fish you can possibly catch.

Had the best day ever…Took my Dad, Little Brother, Son in Law, and my son. To see the crew make us feel at home and made the experience a time that we will never forget…We laughed and joked the whole trip…Couldn’t have asked for a better Captain and Deck hand. There is no doubt we will be using In the Zone Fishing for all future trips…If you want to have a great day on the sea…then look no further….Thank you In the Zone for an excellent experience shared by all.

We had an great trip out with Saul. He kept things interesting, had lots of fun stories to share and entertained a barrage of questions from us. Highly recommend him and In the Zone Fishing! Being from MN, we have fished a lot. This was an amazing experience for ny wife and I. Sharks and a giant stingray!

Our captain Cody was great! He was really nice and knowledgeable. He made sure we caught some good fish and we ended up catching a 150lb stingray, several sharks and some trout. I would definitely recommend In The Zone Charters to others and will be using them again.

Captain Saul got us going quick at the first sight. The boat was plenty big and the equipment was nice. We were out fishing pretty quickly.. We caught mostly trout and Saul was quick on baiting the hooks when we needed it. It was a great first time saltwater trip for us..
