We had a blast fishing on the Catherine C with Captain Bob and first mate E! The boat was easy to find and the weather was beautiful. Captain Bob’s expertise had us catching fish within the first 10 minutes. We caught 78 fish in 4 hours! Captain Bob and his first mate E were a great team and super friendly.  We no sooner dropped the lines and started catching Spanish Mackerel. We caught about 74 Mackerel and 1 Cobia.  E was really working hard especially trying to spot and hook more Cobia for us.  The boat was clean and plenty of room for our group of 5.  It was a great family experience and would highly recommend the Catherine C. to anyone looking to book a charter!

We’ve do e many party boat charters here over the years and this was the 1st time we gor on good keepers. Cpt Bob and mate E. really did their best to get us on the bigger keepers. 4 of us came back with 20+. At 1 point on the trip we were the only boat out catching keepers. I will use Captain Bob everytime when in VA. Him and his crew werr fantastic. Cpt Bob has been in these waters his whole life and knows them inside out.

The Catherine C Charter was a truly enjoyable outing. We all caught fish (mostly mackerel and a few blues). Captain Bob was knowledgeable, very personable and did all he could to get us on some fish. His first mate worked hard to ensure we were catching fish (clearing rigs of sea grass, spotting for cobia, unhooking our catch and re-running our rigs). When we pulled in they even filleted our catch for us. We had a great time!

Captain Bob and First Mate E were terrific - warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about all of the fishing grounds. In the midst of a challenging day of fishing for the fleet, Captain Bob found a couple of special spots where my 7-year old son was able to reel in a couple dozen fish and we even caught a nearly 6-foot sand tiger shark. It made our vacation.
