  we were specifically targeting flounder (inshore) I had one person that was first time on a boat It was my first time going after flounder using live bait and I lost an awful lot. The 3rd guy outfished me by probably 8 to 1 , but I caught the biggest fish. I can’t wait to go again. Capt Jason is very knowledgable and made the afternoon so easy for us. We didn’t even have to put on bait or touch the fish. He allowed us to be very lazy. After we came i he filleted our fish and he did an outstanding job (not a single bone) Good job Jason tight lines till our next trip

  Amazing trip!!!

  Half Day Charters (AM) on July 20, 2026 • 6 adults • 2 children

  Our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) went out with Hayden on the inlet. We originally planned to go nearshore to give the kids their first experience out of the inlet, but the wind was too bad so we stayed in. Hayden was extremely knowledgeable and the BEST captain! He worked his butt off to allow us the best time and chance to catch fish! We landed 5 bug redfish (got to keep 2) and 4 flounder! Plenty for some delicious fish tacos later on! Hayden cleaned and bagged the fish at the end lickety split! We will definitely be going out with him again and hopefully get out to the big water next time! The whole booking process was great and we had direct message access up till the trip. Communication was excellent. 5 stars all the way.

  Not Just A Normal Fishing Trip!!!!

  4 Hour Half Day Charters Special on July 3, 2026 • 5 adults

  We had an incredible day out on the water, and what stood out to me most wasn’t just the fishing—it was the teamwork. I’ve never seen charter boats operate the way this group did. Several boats worked together like a true brotherhood, communicating and coordinating to make sure every boat had a chance to get on fish. It wasn’t a one‑man operation; it was a community effort, and it made all the difference. Our captain, Kyle, was fantastic. He was not only running the boat but also actively training his first mate, Jackson. I was genuinely impressed by Kyle’s patience and the way he took the time to teach Jackson the ropes. In many places, the captain just drives, but Kyle was everywhere—coaching, managing lines, and setting an example of what hard work and good leadership look like. I don’t know what Jackson will choose to do in the years ahead, but the values he’s learning from Kyle are going to serve him well. As for the day itself, my husband, my grandson, and his two friends all caught fish, laughed, and made memories we’ll be talking about for years. It was fun, relaxed, and completely worth it. All in all, it was a great day on the water, and I’d highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for both a good time and a crew that truly works together.

We are one big family and one big team and we try to help each other and work together so that everybody gets the best experience not just a couple boats here and there so I really appreciate that.   Great day on the water

  4 Hour Half Day Charters Special on October 2, 2026 • 2 adults

  Capt Nick was great! He knew the right spots to hit and if there was no bites he took us to a new one. He wanted to do his absolute best to make sure those tips were bent! Catching the Spanish Mackerel was super fun and our favorite. We also caught some trout, blue. Was hoping for some Flounder but we didn't have any luck with those but it wasn't for lack of trying. We didn't barely any time to try sinve we did the 4 hour trip. One thing to keep in mind is we did lose about an hour of fishing with having to go catch some bait. We would for sure book with MIFC again!

  My young daughter and I took a 4 hour trip which was awesome! We had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Jason and his First Mate, McKenna. They were AWESOME! My daughter had never been on a boat or in the ocean fishing before and our crew was nothing short of amazing. They were very patient and eager to help give her and I pointers on what to do. They were very professional and knowledgeable. We had a blast and will never forget the time we had together. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to have had Jason and McKenna as our guides for our first charter together.
