The captian gave me a good deal, pricewise! my main goal was to catch a tarpon, but unfortunately, we were not successful. We ended up finding a rolling group of them, but couldn’t successfully hook on. The captain searched really hard to find more, but we were not successful. We stayed an hour past the allotted time and I had to call it quits. You could tell he really wanted me to get that tarpon.

Besides that I did catch three barracuda, two bonefish and a Jack.

I appreciated the captains passion for fishing and commitment to getting me the catch. I never really saw him on his phone. It seemed like he was always looking at the water trying to find signs of fish. I appreciate that because you don’t see that a lot nowadays.

Our experience fishing in Belize with Captain Tayo and his crew was absolutely outstanding. During our visit, we spent three full days on the water with them, and every day was memorable. What made the trip even more special was how accommodating the crew was with our family. We had two kids with us, and they had an absolute blast. The crew was patient, friendly, and made sure the kids felt involved and safe while still keeping the adventure exciting.

I did the full day flats fly fishing and couldn’t have had a better time. he showed up right on time and brought lunch and drinks. Even though the weather wasnt perfect our captain put us in spots with lots of opportunities to hook up on fish. We we ended up seeing every target species of water and got to cast lots of flys at them. Got hooked up multiple times and ended up landing a beautiful tarpon and a couple other fun fish
. Our captain was very knowledgeable and had lots of experience I would definitely recommend.

I had an incredible experience out on the water with Captain Tayo. His expertise is undeniable; not only did he help me land my first barracuda and bonefish, but he also put me on the ultimate prize—a permit. Beyond the catches, I walked away with a wealth of knowledge about flats fishing and a newfound respect for the skill required to complete a Belizean trifecta. It was a truly humbling and rewarding day.

fished 2 days with captain tayo in april. it was our first time salt water fly fishing and we caught 6 bone fish the first day and 10 the next. we had chances at permit and tarpon too. we wouldve caught more fish if we didnt spend the first 3 hours of the trip learning how to cast which this crew was super helpful teaching us and we greatly improved. looking forward to going back!
