Tarpon season is upon us! As summer heat begins to increase so do the numbers of tarpon! Live finger mullet, threadfins & pogies have been excellent baits , we are finding best opportunities in the early morning’s & late afternoons with the exception of small feeding frenzy’s happening at specific mid day points. Canals , mangrove shorelines and deeper sandy flats have been key areas of focus. The snook bite has also remained steady as they continue moving towards their yearly spawning grounds. Black drum have just started showing up in large numbers. Winter is a phenomenal time to target these monster fish! We have caught them up to 44” inches in recent trips, from deep water or sight fishing them on the skinny flats its a great fight and some of my favorite fishing to do in the winter time.

As we transition from July to August, the fishing conditions are steadily improving! Anticipate a decrease in high temperatures over the upcoming weeks, providing increased chances to target impressive catches. The experience has been truly extraordinary! We've encountered a variety of remarkable fish, including oversized snook, robust Bull Redfish, agile tarpon, occasional black drum, and our prized gator trout.
