    Great 1/2 day trip

    Half Day Trip (AM) • 2 adults

    Francisco our Captain was great and ready to go pronto. This trip was my wife's first time in San Carlos. My goal was too get her on fish and catching which is what happened as soon as the lines were in the water. We got into a lot of Skip Jack's had a dozen or so very quickly. We were hoping for something else and change up to bottom fishing no luck. Went back to trolling and caught more Skip Jack closer the shore which was fine. I wasn't looking to bring home fish on this trip but keep hooking up on fish which was great for my wife who loves to fish. We would definitely recommend Reel Hard Charters again. We hope to come back for Yellow Tail in the early spring! Thank you again Reel Hard Charters!

    Great San Carlos Fishing Trip

    The captain and crew did a phenomenal job finding us fish in some hot weather. The boat was in great shape and ready to roll each morning with no waiting. We are planning to head back down in the fall or spring and will use Reel Hard fishing charter again!

    Liquid Assets Catches again

    Our captain was great. He tried multiple types of Fishing to put meat on the deck. The weather was rough the first day, but the second day really paid off. We would come back and book again and go out with Captain.

Have been out fishing 2-3 days a week, and results have been great 6-12yellowtail on 3/4-full day trips. Yellowtail have been finicky on the vertical jigs, but very responsive to the deep divers. (Rapala 40 MAG, Nomad DTX 200) met some great people from several US **hidden content** CA, AZ, WA, NM. Come get your yellowtail while season is full blast. Tight lines, see you in beautifull San Carlos, Sonora.

Late spring action!! San Carlos keeps li

May 18, 2025 • San Carlos
Beautiful day out at the san pedro island. Morning was action packed getting tight on 3 above average yellowtail (Jurel). Things slowed down for a couple of hours. But activity came back strong, landing a decent red snapper and two more Yellowtail. A couple of calico bass kept us busy. Hooked up a big fish either a big Cabrilla or a broomtail grouper, we could not tell and unfortunatly lost the fish. Nomad dtx minnows and nomad squidtrex were working hard. We trolled, speed vertical jigged and tossed the surface irons. Great day over all. Come join us in awesome San Carlos, Sonora. Fish with Reel Hard fishing charters.

8 hour trip to San Pedro Island was action packed! Awesome group of guys from northern California having a blast fishing the sea of cortez. Yellowatial was the name of the game this time, and the Nomad DTX minnow 200’s were putting in work. Jigging was not very efective, but captain Jesse said we are going backnto trolling the plugs. That was dor sure the right call. Total of 15+ lb fish and very happy customers.

Bull Mahi and Sailfish lets go!!!!

Quick 6 hour rip with my family. Managed 2 bull mahi mahi (Dorado) and a big Sailfish. Water was rough but the 28 foot Albin handled it like nothing. Great day fishing and awesome day at the dinner table.

Yellowtail madness!!

Day started with a beautifull sunrise, but fishing was tough. Crew was able to bring 2 decent sized yellowtails trolling the rapalas. After a couple of hours trying different techniques, that spot had given us all it had. We moved north closer to San Pedro Nolasco island and boy were we in for a treat. Birds were going crazy everywhere. Made a couple of passes trolling the plugs and caught a couple more. Started deep dropping knife jigs and Yoyo irons and the action was crazy catching yellowtail every other drop. A couple of calicos and a hefty red snapper were caught bouncing the jigs off the bottom. Over all great day of fishing. Come join us, and have a blast reeling in the best game fish the sea of cortez has to offer. Totals 15 Yellowtail (jurel) 3 Calico Bass 1 Red Snapper (pargo) Reel Hard fishing charter.
