Jake, a college student, started this business in 2021. He is passionate about fishing and hopes to continue this for many years. Jake has worked with IGFA to produce a video series on catching Peacock Bass in South Florida. He constantly finds new spots to fish at, which we are delighted to take our clients to. We love fishing with anglers of all ages. Our youngest client so far has been 4 years old, and our oldest have been over 80 years old.
Techniques: When you want to catch peacock bass, you need to give them the candy that they want... Live shiners. We typically only fish with spinning tackle but if somebody wants to bring a fly rod that's fine also.

So far this winter has been a big surprise. We have been catching a lot a big peacocks. Last December and January were tough but throughout December our customers have been killing it! Come join us for a guaranteed fun time and tight lines.

Fishing With Jake has been incredibly busy over the last month and the reason why is because the peacocks are going crazy. Most of our 2 hour trips are averaging close to 10 fish per person per hour. The biggest fish that we have seen so far this summer has been about 6 pounds. Most of the big boys typically start coming out and bedding around August/ September so book now if you want to catch some big peacock bass in Florida.

Recently, while fishing for peacocks at some of our locations, we got lucky enough to catch some Bullseye Snakeheads that have been showing their ugly faces. They are a lot of fun to catch because they are really powerful. The average size of each snakehead that we've been catching is between 3 and 6 pounds.

My son and I had a wonderful day fishing. Even though it’s winter here and supposedly harder to successfully fish, we caught a lot and my son was delighted to catch three species he hadn’t before. This trip was even better than we expected. My sons and I were visiting Ft Lauderdale and they wanted desperately to catch peacock bass. Ron knew exactly how and where to make that happen!
