Rick, I had a great time fishing with you guys. I apologize for my language. I get a little exited and absent minded when the fish turn on. I was completely shocked by this review. Not that I cannot handle a bad review, but the statements you wrote were completely off base and fabricated.

It was extremely unfortunate that we were not able to land the keeper redfish like you wanted. There were DOZENS of reds caught that were not legal. We also caught grouper, jacks, snook, and snapper. Not to mention the multiple fish that were not landed. I gave extra time to your group in hopes that we could land that keeper red for you.

Just to clarify, I started my charter business in Everglades City. Before my charter business I worked on my father in laws stone crab boat. I also ran airboats for the tourist. Due to unforeseen family obligations, I temporary have to commute back and forth. We still own property and pay taxes in Collier County. I spend a lot of time there and no matter were I am my heart will alway be there.

I wish I was able to grantee specific species of fish and/or size but unfortunately that is not the way it works. Any fisherman knows why its called “fishing”. Sometimes lady luck is not on our side. I have come to realize and made peace with the fact that I am unable to please everyone. I really hope that one day you land that keeper redfish you wanted.

P.S. I would never Jeopardize my business, licenses or the fishery that I depend on by keeping anything that was not of legal size or in season.
