I basically paid $1600 for a boat trip out to sea with 7 of my boys.  NO fishing to speak of at all.  The crew did most all the fishing on only one rod.  Everyone else watched, fell asleep, got bored, watched the ocean view, whatever.  All of these young men have never fished at sea before and were looking forward to a couple of hours of REAL fishing and the experience of casting and learning.  It did not matter if they caught anything or not.  It was not explained to me that one or two lines could out at a time.  I would have NEVER booked and paid so much for so little in return.  I have been on boats before where everyone was fishing to the point of exhaustion.  I was totally ripped off.  The two mates on board could have cared less about the boys experience the entire trip.
