Our trip was delayed because of the bait shrimp supply, so we left at 9 AM instead of 730 as proposed. However, his afternoon trip canceled so he kept us out until about 1:30 PM. We ran all the way from the causeway to the north end of Captiva Where he found some wrecked pure structure during the running tide. It was perfect for sheep head. They’re all small, but kept our kids busy and happy. We ran down to South sea plantation where I caught a nice 4 pound sheep head. We finished the day drifting for trout and my youngest caught a cute 2 foot bonnet head short. After he cleaned our catch we had enough for dinner. The captain was a nice fellow who got along with everybody.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing trip with Captain Charlie, we did the 6 hour trip and he put us in fish the entire time, started off fishing for snook and ended with tarpon. We caught fish left and right, a bit of everything and some to take home for dinner. Charlie cleaned them up nice for us to take home to cook. 10/10 would recommend booking. We look forward to booking another charter with him.

Captain Charlie and his first mate Dria made for an awesome day of fishing on a last-minute booking. I’ve never been on a fishing charter, so I didn’t know what to expect, but Captain Charlie sure did set the standard. Capt Charlie was quick to move locations to find the bite. After some quick moves, he found the fish and had us catching nice-sized sea trout and shark one after another before taking us into the backwater to go for big snook, a request I made in the comments on FishBooker. In short order, I was hooked up on my personal biggest snook.

The whole time, Captain Charlie and Dria made sure we had everything we needed and surprised us with excellent pictures and videos of the action. At the end of the trip, Capt. Charlie expertly filleted our catches and packed them up for us to eat later that night. What a great experience with a great captain and first mate, Dria!

Booked a charter for my son’s 16th birthday. Captain Charlie was awesome! We caught sheep’s head, redfish, black drum, trout, and Almost a shark! (Shark snapped the line.) He moved spots whenever the fish were too small or not popping. He made sure there was plenty of bait and kept it on the hooks so we could keep catching. He even cleaned and filled our fish. Thanks for an unforgettable day!

What an amazing day. Going into the trip, our goal was to catch snook then land some good fish for dinner. We spent the first 1.5 hours catching snook on practically every cast, then headed to a different location to load up on trout for the dinner table. Caught more than enough trout, and also hooked into several sharks for a fun fight. Constant action from tarpon, but didn’t get lucky enough to hook up (this time). This was one of the best charters we’ve been on, and we can’t wait to get back out there with Captain Charlie!
