  Great First Experience

  3 Hour Seas the Day on October 5, 2026 • 5 adults • 1 child

  Captain Bob and his assistant were amazing! The customer service was excellent from start to finish. Due to unforeseen flash flooding and heavy traffic, we were delayed nearly two hours getting to our charter. Captain Bob was extremely patient and understanding, stayed in communication with us, and made sure we still had a great experience. Once we got out on the water, we had an awesome time and even caught several fish! I truly appreciate how accommodating and professional he was throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend Captain Bob and his crew!

  First Charter Trip — Couldn’t Have Asked for Better!

  5 Hour Trip – Nearshore Gulf on September 25, 2026 • 2 adults

  This was our first time ever charter fishing, and Captain Bob absolutely exceeded our expectations! His boat was very nice, the perfect size, and having a bathroom on board was a great bonus. Captain Bob did a great job explaining what our day would look like, and even though the water was pretty rough, he still managed to put us on the fish. Dylan was just as great. They were both professional, patient, and welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure we had a great experience. We literally never went more than 30 seconds without bait on our hooks — these guys were on it! Captain Bob and Dylan were constantly giving us tips and tricks, and Captain Bob made sure we made the most of every minute on the water. At the end of the trip, Dylan cleaned and bagged all of our fish. My wife had always wanted to catch a red snapper, and she ended up catching her limit! It was such a fun and memorable day. We will definitely be back next year and will absolutely be fishing with Captain Bob and Dylan again. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great fishing charter. Thank you both for an amazing time and for making our first charter fishing experience one we won’t forget! 🎣

  We had an outstanding experience with Captain Bob and The Jig Is Up Charters on the Fourth of July. Captain Bob, a veteran, spent his holiday making sure our family had an unforgettable experience, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Captain Bob went above and beyond by keeping us out an extra hour to ensure we had plenty of opportunities to catch fish and enjoy our time on the water. Most importantly, he made sure both of our boys had an amazing experience, taking the time to keep them engaged, excited, and successful throughout the trip. We also want to give a special shoutout to Dillon, who was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and great with our boys throughout the trip. Both of our boys talked about how much fun they had and specifically mentioned how happy they were and how helpful Dillon was. That says everything you need to know about the experience they provided. Captain Bob and Dillon were professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making our trip special. He was also safe and everyone felt comfortable with his boating and fishing skills.   Great Captain Who Goes the Extra Mile!

  4 Hour Trip – Nearshore Gulf on October 16, 2026 • 2 adults

  Hands down a great experience! Captain Bob was an awesome guy who genuinely cared about making sure we had a good trip. He went above and beyond and never gave up on getting us on the fish. we caught our limit of mingo and a trigger fish. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and truly wants his customers to have a great time. Highly recommend booking with him! We’ll definitely remember this trip and will be back again.

  3 Hour Seas the Day - 1:00 PM on March 15, 2026 • 6 adults

  The waters were tough Sunday, but even though we didnt catch all we would have liked,we had a great time. My nephews all caught something and Captain Bob and Dillon were wonderful. I would use them over and over again. They shared their knowledge and helped each young man. my nephews are 12,10 and 7. We felt safe and even though the waters weren’t our friend I would do it again and again. Seeing the boys smile at every little fish they snagged was worth it and Nolan saying Aunt Mandy I think I found my thing - well money cant buy that… Thank you for a great morning with all my guys ❤️
